YAY!
Iāve finished my Summer TBR pile!!! Feeling so proud of one-self. :)
How I Rate
If youāre wondering why should I explain how I rate books because Iāve not been writing and posting reviews since forever. With concern, I do still write reviews but I only post them on goodreads so if you want to follow me, you may do so.Ā
I decided to explain my way of ratings (the 5-stars rate) on goodreads here. One, to act as a reminder for myself and secondly, to help readers understand my stand better.Ā
Here goes.Ā
ONE star: I absolutely hate this book. May be unfinished because I could no longer go on further.Ā
TWO stars: Meh. Below average. Having negative thoughts of it, probably more negative than positive.Ā
THREE stars: Decent read. Neither like nor hate it.
FOUR stars: I adore this book but some aspect of it disappoints me. But I enjoy the read.
FIVE stars: I LOVE THIS BOOK. MIND-BLOWN AND AMAZING READ.Ā
6/8 books of my summer TBR done!
Reading multiple books at the same time when reading slumps kick in.Ā
Summer 2015 TBR
Jet lag starts to kick in thus Iām planning my summer must-get-to reads. (in no particular order)
1. finish The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare (I need, need to know the conclusion to be prepare for the new series.)
2. The Truth About The Harry Quebert Affair by Joel Dicker (where I left off last summer when I fail to bring this chunky book to Cardiff)
3. Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella (of course)
4. Me Before You by Jojo Moyes (need to be prepare for the movie which Emilia Clarke stars in)
5. A Court of Thrones and Roses by Sarah J. Maas (no idea why is this in the list)
6. The Girl on The Train by Paula Hawkins (apparently itās compare to Gone Girl and I brought it all the way from Cardiff)
7. The Ruby Circle by Richelle Mead (the last of the Bloodline series)
8. possibly start the Hannibal Lecter series (whatās the series call) or the Blue Blood series.Ā
yep. that would be my goal for summer.Ā
I still have 2 more papers. It's annoying. Seriously. Whoever who plan this exam schedule should be sent for hunger games.

So. My update. Yep.
I did not read that much but Iām satisfied with my result because Iāve managed to finish a book.Ā
24/4, around 3pm (it starts at 1pm)
- Continue with Forever... by Judy Blume pg 87
- Finish with Forever at night time
- Start with The Secret Dreamworld of ShopaholicĀ
- End the day on pg 58
Sadly, thatās all Iāve read. A total of 145 pages. Due to my tight-pre-examination schedule, Iām pretty happy with my reading progress.Ā

Dewel's 24 Hours Read-a-thon TBR pile: So, this read-a-thon happen tomorrow (24/4) at 1pm (UK time). I happen to be in a mood for reading thus here goes my challenge. 1. Forever... by Judy Blume 2. A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin 3. The Secret Dreamworld of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella My reading order goes 1>3>2 and I've started Forever... and AGOT. I'm not ambitious enough to promise that I will finish AGOT in this read-a-thon. But I'll try to read as much as I can. It's a massive book though.
April 2015 Book Haul! Howdy, it's been awhile. Sadly to admit that I'd been on a long reading slump since winter. It's pretty bad. Months passed and assignments due-d and Easter and I'm finally back. I was overpowered by my sudden mood to shop and poof, 7 books ordered on book depository. Nothing happen. Well. [left to right] 1. The Girl on The Train by Paula Hawkins 2. The Year I Met You by Cecelia Ahern 3. Forever... by Judy Blume (currently reading) 4. The Ruby Circle by Richelle Mead (EGG-cited!) 5. The Secret Dreamworld of A Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella 6. The Diary of A Young Girl by Anne Frank 7. PS. I Love You by Cecelia Ahern Well.
I just click-ordered 7 books on book depository.Ā
Live with no regrets.Ā

Sorry for neglecting this bookblog for such a long time. Excuse is I've been busy with adapting to a new life in UK and life in law school.
Earlier in November, I went for a book signing event in Waterstones, The Hayes. Yes, it's Becca Fitzpatrick, the author of Hush Hush series, even though the signing is for her new book, Black Ice. It was a unique experience being able to meet up with an author and get the book signed. She is lovely in person. :D
