His hatless head was still held high even as he was forced into Iracebeth’s throne room, his wrists bound and out in front of him. It was better, come to think of it, without his dear hat. It was a good topper, and had done nothing wrong— it didn’t deserve torture.

And Tarrant would certainly be tortured, he knew.

Jaw set and gaze unwavering, he stood before the Red Queen.

The Queen was irritable. Stayne failed on his interrogation of the prisoner on the whereabouts of the dreaded Alice. It was time she took matter into her own hands per usual. A palace full of incompetents, they are. She glared at the prisoner approaching, tapping her fingers impatiently before he stood before her.

"We know Alice has returned to Underland. Do you know where she is?"

"No…." *hides tarts behind back* "Why would I take your stupid tarts?"
