in what light does your muse see their fans? 

“without army, bts would not exist. they’re our wings, dear people that always support all of us with immeasurable love and dedication. more than that, our fans are an extension of our family. we help each other, encourage each other and worry about each other. I’m truly thankful to have such amazing fans that also inspire me to do better,

how does your idol truly feel about meeting with their fans? is it an inconvenience—minor or not—or are they truthfully enthusiastic to meet with fans?

“it’s not always a huge enthusiasm whenever I’m out with friends or on private schedules,” he laughs. “sometimes I catch myself off guard being so easily recognized, but there’s very rare moments where they cross the line. fan meetings are my favorite kind, considering that I’m able to actually sit and greet everyone. but jokes aside, I do miss meeting with army after a long time without seeing them. they recharge me.”

are they the type to accept gifts from fans? is it allowed by the company?

according to the company’s new policy, gifts are not allowed to be delivered anymore since march 30, 2018. before that date it was allowed and the members used to be very spoiled by the generosity of the fans. 

what is something embarrassing that has happened during the singing event?

“well, at first... I was very self conscious whenever armys would bring headbands, ribbons and other accessories to be worn. I just couldn’t understand why that was so interesting but after some time I realized that it could be really entertaining and the embarrassment of wearing those pieces began to vanish.”

has there ever been a moment when a fan was rude to your muse?

“not exactly rude but... it happened to some young fans address some of us using “-ah~” and “-yah~”, which it was sort of inappropriate. I don’t mind informality but there’s an invisible line that shouldn’t be crossed sometimes.” 1

what is your muse’s go-to drink during fan-meets?

“personally my favorite drink is coffee, specially during mornings. however the staff provide us water bottles during fan meetings and that’s usually what everyone drink at the occasion.”

“when is agust d 2 coming?”

does your muse ever remember the fans, or pretend to?

“there are a couple of fans that are familiar faces during fan meetings, those often being fan site owners of loyal members of the official fan club. I’m quite good at recognizing people so it’s cute to watch their reactions upon hearing I remember them.”

who was the most memorable fan to your muse?

“one of the most memorable fans of mine was this one girl that kept accusing me and saying she’d sue me,” more laughing. “I heard she got married, I hope she’s living a very happy life.” 2 

is there something you wish you could do differently for fan-meets?

“hmm, perhaps not differently but better? I want every fan to have a special moment connecting with us, asking what they’re curious about, and most importantly smiling a lot. that’s why I try to be as entertaining as possible to draw positive reactions from our army.”

is there something you wish you could do that is not allowed during fan-meets?

“napping? I’m kidding. I wish we could actually spend more time talking to the fans.”

idols are real people, they have their bad days. name a time in which your idol was either disappointed, angry or annoyed at their fans—not sasaengs “fans”, but full-fledged fans. either overcrowding the airport, bad mouthing another group or simply your idol not being in the mood to interact with them.

“there was a particular event where a fan rushed toward my direction but was stopped by the security. I was kind of shocked of such behavior but remained cool in order to not startle anyone. sometimes fans can cross the limits but to me, invading a person’s space is unforgivable. please respect people’s privacy, everyone.” 3

has there ever been a scandal surrounding fan-meets?

“nothing that I can think of.”

how does your muse feel about the short amount of time they actually get to give the fans? (some interactions are well known to only last for a minute or less)

“the time we actually spend interacting individually is really short, so sometimes it feels like we’re forced to stop an interaction in order for everyone to have a brief moment with every member. I personally wish it could be a little longer, but unfortunately that’s not viable.”

you’re lacking, I’ve been told. not words that are pleasant to hear, specially from someone supposed to help you extracting the best out of yourself, to polish your skills despite the difficulties. I wasn’t expecting to hear those same words after years ─ from the same person that helped me becoming a better dancer than I never expected I could be. dancing? I never cared about it. however to be part of such a complete group that BTS grew out to be, I had to improve and to learn things that I never thought I’d learn. if I’m completely honest, it’s never been easy. the only comfort I was able to receive came from my group members, some struggled as much as I did. despite everything, it’s been a long ride and I managed to improve my own flexibility and balance, to the point that I sort of grew confident that I was able to stop and say: I can dance, after all.

perhaps you can start to imagine the impact of those words when they were directed toward me, that couldn’t get the new choreography right no matter how many times I tried. even so, dance isn’t something I’m passionate about. failure, though? I cannot admit. I simply can’t be a weight on my members and slow down the learning process because I was the only one lacking. it was going to be a rough week, but nothing I haven’t been through before. you’re going to practice those movements until you’ve mastered them. meet me tomorrow at 7. unable to protest, I simply nodded my head and did what I was told. it was pretty predictable not being able to sleep that night, my body was pumping with adrenaline. anxiety, perhaps.

the learning process was slow, giving that I had no one but myself to stare at the mirror. lift your arms higher. don’t miss the beat. faster. now all over again from the start. it was exhausting. sometimes either jimin or hoseok would show up to shout some encouraging words, and I was grateful ─ I was doing my best for their sake, too. aside from the dance practice in the morning, I was also required to work on my body in order to perform even better, but with less cramps from the sore muscles. it actually worked. I began to feel more confident on my movements and even before the actual deadline, I felt like I’ve mastered the new choreography.

was I truly ready, though?

you’ve worked hard, let’s celebrate with a couple of drinks. I couldn’t feel prouder of myself at that moment. the credit was definitely not only mine, but to my dance instructor, my personal trainer & also my members, that never failed to encourage me. I still had a long way to go, but as long as I didn’t slow down my group ─ it was more than enough.

according to the test that yoongi took last week, I decided to analyze the results! he managed to get 40% in dominance, 7% in influence, 23% in steadiness and 30% in compliance. but what was it mean? that’s why I, OP, will be analyzing every aspect in order to check how accurate the test it with the best of my abilities.

to what extent is it really true, though? we know that yoongi is very creative when it comes to producing & writing songs, that’s been automatically proven by the registered number of compositions he has, more than 80 songs credited under his name on komca, not to mention during the seasons greetings of 2018, the members actually revealed that he composes at least a song per day. 1 2

we all know how much of a perfectionist yoongi is when it comes to his work. he doesn’t quite rest until things are exactly they way he expect them to, as well as encourage and sometimes demand the others to follow his example. due to his preference for resting and laying down, people misunderstand him as a lazy type of guy which is completely bullshit. yoongi works hard, including under pressure. he’s an outstanding artist that deserves to be praised for everything he’s done not only for the music industry, as well as for the society by promoting and talking about the hardships of the youth. 3 4

yoongi isn’t the type to have sexual fantasies often. he likes the thought of having sex, likes the pleasure out of it but it isn’t something regular on his life. he’s often too busy to even remember that physical pleasure exists, sometimes. however he does think of sex & craves it once in a while. among his fantasies could be listed spending an entire day with the person he’s into, engaging into sexual activities as the hours progress. not quite a fan of danger, he’s the type of lover that gets turned on by unexpected approaches, but without putting his career into risk. he fantasizes about sensual moves, firm grips, muffled moans and sometimes some dirty rough sex.

02. gluttony

truthfully, yoongi was never particularly obsessed about a dish. he likes food, obviously, but he isn’t passionate about eating. in fact, he doesn’t even eat much. however one thing he could definitely eat and never get bored of is meat. it’s been always his ultimate preference whenever he can choose what to eat, however gluttony isn’t a sin present in his life. yoongi likes pretty much everything, but not quite enough.

by sleeping. definitely sleeping. yoongi loves to sleep, he loves to do absolute nothing for the longest time possible. he isn’t lazy when he has a goal, he’s incredibly hard-working but whenever there’s a possibility of resting, he takes it & enjoys it by spending it on the horizontal position ─ laying down, not thinking of anything and simply letting slumber take over his life as nothing else mattered that very moment.

05. wrath

to be honest, yoongi’s bursts of anger aren’t quite visible as he doesn’t shout or scold by screaming whatsoever. his expressions becomes serious when he’s angry, the type of person you don’t wanna mess with because they truly seem irritated. he’s argumentative and pretty good at it as well, imposing his position and opinions bluntly, without sugar-coating the facts. keep in mind that being ‘ savage ‘ isn’t the same as being ‘ angry ‘, though. yoongi owns a sharp tongue, he doesn’t hold himself back from telling people they’re wrong. his approach may not be friendly, but his intentions are often the best. however he doesn’t show actual anger as he’s a pretty chill guy himself. 1 & 2.

06. envy

I feel like what yoongi envied the most was success all along. he craved it, he craved recognition from day 1 when he first decided that he wanted to work with music. every musician and artist desire to be recognized and to succeed with their line of work, no matter the field. and with yoongi it wasn’t different. things didn’t go well when he started, though. some people have it easier than others, whether due to influences, opportunities or merely luck. but he didn’t have neither of those, not until he decided to travel to seoul and chase his dream by auditioning. yoongi envied the ones that had it easier. he envied success almost nearing obsession.

07. pride 

he’s incredibly proud of his music, of his own art. whenever he releases something, he promotes it constantly as well as his group’s releases. yoongi always puts his heart & soul into his compositions, they often reflect his thoughts, tell his story. that’s why he’s so proud of BTS as a team and of his own solo work. in contrast with his pride though, there’s the humility he possesses to admit when something is still lacking. proud of his work, but humble enough to never be completely satisfied with its final form.

THEMES AND TOPICS TO CONSIDER: slice of life, shopping, capitalism, genius lab, technology, money issues, a day with bts suga.

as soon as the camera indicates that it’s actually live, the rapper murmurs a couple of words asking the growing number of fans that nonstop begin to comment, asking several things in both korean and other languages. it takes him approximately five minutes to set the camera over the stick and finally greet the ones already present. “everyone, good morning. you guys are really up earlier, huh? I hope you’ve slept well.” as he walks, the camera moves slightly up and down rhythmically with the steps. “you’re probably wondering where I’m going. can you guess where I’m going at this hour?” he tries to read some comments, but it’s somewhat dangerous to do something of the sort while walking in the middle of the street, so yoongi handles the camera to the manages behind the scenes in order to walk more freely.

not giving any further explanation whatsoever, he makes a couple of funny faces in order to keep the viewers entertained before turning and entering a big department, full of several equipment and techs for people interested in producing music: musical instruments of all sorts, sound amplifiers, headphones of different sizes and colors, wires for conversion and several other accessories that could only be found at places like such. a broad smile can be seen stamped over the rapper’s lips; like a child in the middle of a themed park. “I’ve been wanting these for a while but never actually found’em anywhere.” he mentions rather excited, keeping his attentive eyes over the device he’s been studying so carefully with his fingers. 

yoongi spends more time on the store than his lives usually last, sharing his opinion about the price of many things, mentioning favorite brands and accessories he actually has on his list of things to buy ─ for future references. over the store’s counter can also be seen not only his own purchases, but some extra items the staff accompanying him also bought. the rapper made sure to interact with the camera the best he could, sharing a short period of his own free time with his fans. he promises to come live more often, and that he’ll make sure to enjoy the vacation before going back to producing new music with the brand new equipment he bought.

what does your muse usually do?

yoongi usually spends a lot of time at his studio, to the point it could be practically called a second dorm. there are hygiene items such as towels and shampoo, along with other items in case he decides to spend more than twelve hours working. however, he also enjoys purchasing new equipment and visiting shops to check the quality of the product live. despite being an obvious workaholic, yoongi hangs out with friends and senior from the industry once in a while.

does your muse usually enjoy staying inside or going outside?

he’s definitely an indoor type of guy. if given the choice he spends his free time at home, catching up with some sleep or by reading a book, listening to some music or talking to family and friends on the phone. it doesn’t mean he never goes out though, yoongi enjoys going to fish with friends and other outdoor activities.

when they go outside, are they usually always recognized?

usually, yes. yoongi doesn’t really go out alone. whether with cameras following him to film or with friends, he’s easily recognized as a member of one of the most popular kpop groups of the current time. most of the time he isn’t bothered though, specially since people to get shy with a greater amount of people surrounding celebrities.

what is something your muse would usually wear if they go outside?

it really depends of the current weather, but yoongi’s fashion is pretty simple. he chooses neutral colors, preferring darker & discreet pieces over stamped ones. he usually wear hats as well, snapbacks or beanies & always with a mouth mask covering his features.

how many times do they go grocery shopping, or do they leave that for someone else to do for them?

it’s not very common for bts members ─ specially at this rate, to calmly go grocery shop, at least in korea. most of the time the managers are in charge of making sure they have what they need, but in the past when the group wasn’t as popular, it was pretty normal to buy the items by themselves. it no longer happens though.

how many times does your muse visit the bank?

with the internet and its convenience when dealing with money through smartphones, yoongi rarely visits the bank. every ─ or almost every money transition is made via phone apps, unless a larger number of money needs to be used, for example when it comes to charity donations.

how many times has your muse visited the hospital?

yoongi had visited the hospital several times. self declared having a weak health ( or is it bad luck? ), he was involved in car accidents, had a surgery to remove his appendix, injured his ear and several other minor incidents. it is important to do regular check ups, so visits to the hospital aren’t as rare.

what is their favorite place to go to?

yoongi really loves to go fishing. it’s something he likes to do and that he thinks he’s good at. I feel like he’s able to relax being in contact with nature somehow, having a good time, spending quality moments with people he actually trusts.

do they usually like going out alone, or being with a group?

I feel like he’s neutral about that. he wouldn’t mind the company of friends nor would mind doing things by himself, when needed to. yoongi values his time alone, it’s his personal cleansing time. but when it comes to going out, it can really work either way.

can your muse drive?

yes yoongi has a car license.

i enjoy doing “nothing” and “laying down”.  when i am free from work i "sleep”. sometimes, i like to visit “my family”. i wish i could go to “daegu”  more often tomorrow i need to “make sure i enjoy myself”.

at the moment the app was ready & running, yoongi slid some of his bony fingers through the bleached locks and scooted closer in order to check how many viewers were online at that very moment. he was aware the app would notify hundreds of armys all over the world and in no time, as expected, the view count was already reaching 200k. after clearing his throat a couple of times, the rapper murmured quietly. “is it working? can you guys see me?” he experimented, eyes rolling toward the chat screen to read real time comments in several languages. “the reason why I decided to go live so late is to talk about something that’s been going around for a while and that I thought it’d be the right thing to do explaining to you guys.” after another row of throat noises, yoongi leaned against the couch behind him and started.

“so, uh... I noticed my name popping up at the naver’s main page and twitter and honestly? I’m going to change into my sleepwear and get some sleep.” he was partially amused & relieved, considering that as expected, most of the comments were positive and supportive of the issue. yoongi then realized the topic would most likely going to die after a couple of days, and that he shouldn’t worry too much about getting his words misunderstood. the rapper ended up answering some trivial questions he read, none about the topic in question as he wasn’t able to read all of them due to the speed of the chat box, but he was comforted nonetheless from spending some time online with ARMY.
