1177 - the ghost people
We were never poetic, we were just fucked up.
there’s still glass in my palms from that night. (via soulsscrawl)
“Can we please not talk about those disgraceful excuses for vampires that pop-culture has spawned. Honestly, we don’t twinkle. That’s ridiculous.” The Daywalker crinkled her nose at his zombie comment before laughing softly, “fair enough, at least they got some things right with them.” Leah watched him carefully as he explained, nodding her head in interest, it had to get lonely for him, she had lived so long that she knew what loneliness felt like. She adjusted the shopping bag over her shoulder, looking around, “I don’t live far from here, maybe in a little while you’ll be able to make to my house.” She gave him a smile, “But until then…I can come and visit you, if you would like?”
Shaking his head, Hunter chuckles at her distaste for the pop-culture phenomenon he’d brought up pertaining to -- apparently -- her own kind. ❝ I won’t hold you to the VISITING thing. I’m afraid I’m not real entertaining to hang out with; and it’s not like there’s much to do at the house, since no one lives there right now. ❞ Still, he’d appreciate the COMPANY. Things got dreadfully boring and lonely holed up in that place, not to mention the wall dark memories clung to the walls like the scent of old tobacco.
sooooo apparently i accidentally added a bunch of things to the queue instead of drafting them. my bad y’all.
so I just sat there… I sat there and waited for a text that I knew would never come.

It’s strange really… the way a place can mean worlds to one person but absolutely nothing to the next.

They say you die twice. One time when you stop breathing and a second time, a bit later on, when somebody says your name for the last time.
