With a soft sigh, she shook her head. “Ignoring it isn’t going to make it go away.”

He did feel a little on edge, he reached into his pocket to grab a smoke and put the tip in his mouth before lighting it as the song went on. “Alright Princess, what kind of music do you listen to?”
He hoped smoking wouldn’t cross some type of line, but his social anxiety was starting to rise and the last thing he wanted was to start getting fidgety. So this was a nice reprieve to have while chatting.
~❅~ She tried not to pay any attention to the cigarette smoke. It was easier than usual, perhaps because she was already used to Yang doing the same when a break was needed. Plus her father was big on cigars. They were the only ‘Gerean thing he liked.Funny how often that happened.
Weiss paused at the question, wondering just how to answer it.She had appearances to keep, after all. And it wasn’t like Cardin was a friend who she could tell anything to. So she put on her best airs, and tried to keep her voice from sounding too nerve-wracked. “Mostly I listen to classical,with the occasional dip into things like opera and my own music.” Even though most of her music she couldn’t stand, but that had nothing to do with the style and everything to do with the whole ‘putting words in her mouth’ thing her record label and father both loved doing.

“We don’t, or at least I can’t stand it.” He hated warm weather, it sucked and there was nothing you could do about it. The two waited at a bus station together. He was surprised they haven’t fought yet, he was waiting for the ignition on that however.
But he decided not to edge anything on, he wanted to stay in a good mood so he moved closer to her, he had a earbud in his left ear listening to a song and he offered the other to her “Why don’t we take our minds off the heat then.”
~❅~ Honestly she was as surprised as he that the two didn’t instantly start arguing. But hey, she wasn’t complaining. Constantly fighting with someone wasn’t good for your health. Looking at the earbud, she cocked an eyebrow before taking it and popping it into her ear. It wasn’t her usual genre, but it was good. She found a small smile creeping to her lips as she listened. “I’ve never heard this before. It’s not bad.” Granted, she didn’t listen to anything her father didn’t let her before she came to Beacon, but....
