what has ya gurl amara been up to these days in the dream world, you ask? well, keep on reading to find out. ( one of these days I will LEARN how to make graphics, today is just not that day. -sighs )

amara is a twenty-first century girl in this reality

she is a WITCH

parents are in a LOVELESS marriage

it’s because her father has so much money her mother doesn’t leave him, acting OBLIVIOUS of all the women he brings home.

she was fifteen years old when she skipped school, hiding in a closet when she heard her father come home, except he wasn’t with mommy, he was with another woman.

first betrayal, the second betrayal when she confronted her mother about her father’s affair and she knew all along. she believed wholeheartedly in TRUE LOVE, and was heartbroken to say the least. this changed the course of everything.

her parents love life has been a lie. the adolescence didn’t take the news so well, she was silent, but she couldn’t stay quiet forever. eventually, she started ACTING out in the most unconventional ways, like, skipping school often, sneaking into parties, drinking, driving under the influence. that of which she got PULLED OVER for, ( && practically got off scot-free influenced by her dad’s money. she sweet talked her way out of trouble with her parents, that’s when she realized she could get away with just about anything she wanted ).

a fragile friend of hers was skeptical of her husband cheating on her, naturally amara HATED/DESPISED men && women who cheat ( what’s the need when you have a spouse at home waiting for you? ), her friend is the one who asked amara to see if he was, to see if he would give in to her charms. (POSSIBLE CONNECTION OPEN FOR ANYONE)

it felt good, more than good, great, even, to prove that the husband really is a lying, cheating scumbag. like, she did a good deed by making her friend see she deserves so much better.

working as a private investigator is her cover, for what she tells people when she doesn’t want them to know what she really does for a living, which is finding a way into a man’s life, and seducing them through any means necessary to the possibility they could be cheating or not. women come to her in desperate need of help.  

through all this scheming, she doesn’t have time for relationships, or a HUSBAND. yet, she remained untouched, even now, thinking of her mr right, she constantly lies about not being a virgin and when you look at her, who could think it? it is a burden waiting for the right guy & know there are no such in this lifetime. MARRIAGE scares her.

during moments like this, he feels as though no time has passed. as if the only thing that has changed is that qetsiyah is no longer in control of their fate and the two don’t have to hide their relationship anymore. so much has changed, like their surroundings and the way they carry themselves and even amara’s physical appearance, but most notably would be silas’ way of carrying himseld when he’s not with amara. deep down, he knows that he’s not the man amara fell in love with. he’s far from that, even if his love for her has only grown stronger. there’s so much anger and hate inside of him that it controls his every motive. he’s not a good person; after everything he’s been through, there’s no room for good in his heart apart from what he shares with amara. 

so much has changed, but between each other, everything is the same. the way he gazes at amara as though she’s constantly leaving him breathless, his eyes full of wonder and admiration for her, and even the way that his voice softens when he speaks to her is all the same.  silas believes everything she says. she wouldn’t keep things from him, he hopes. “ if that’s all it takes for you to rest, it looks like i’ll have to take you to bed every night from now on, hm? ” he replies, smiling at her as he feels a poke at his cheek. his hand moves to rest of the small of her back, palms lightly trailing across it.  “ you don’t have to worry about me, amara. so long as you’re here, i’ll always be okay. ” it’s his way of avoiding the question, because he’d rather divert the conversation than lie about his current state outside of this moment, which is far from what he knows she’s hoping for.

it’s unforeseen what the future brings for them, good or bad    they weren’t bad people, they weren’t saints either. even so, her days would’ve felt empty and incomplete if she didn’t take the leap of faith with silas, knowing if she’s better off now then she was in the past, silas made her days and nights better. less bleak. how could she blame him for wanting to spend an eternity together, for choosing her? to this day, it’s still somewhat unreal to grasp he chose her, he could have anybody, he could’ve had qetsiyah, who’m he was supposed to marry. yes, perhaps her insecurities lie deeper then just physical appearance but it’s never stopped her from going after what she wants. stubbornly, of coarse. 

everything fades away when their eyes meet, the world stills and it’s like all her worries fade away with them. not to say the jitters or butterflies could ever retract, as if seeing him for the first time, her heart jumps. defying her every chance it gets. she’s relieved he didn’t question it further, but she also feels bad. still, he puts a content smile on her face nonetheless, concealing the undertone of red from his view, sinking into his frame some more. “if you so wish ; try as you might, i barely find myself slumber in your presence.” she teases, a gentle giggle escaping. jeez, how old is amara? and she’s acting like such a teenager, how a teenager would react ( not should react ) to an adult... relationship    sleeping together just so happened a norm of society today. he touches the small of her back and she melts inside, needing a second or five to not lose track of what they were talking about. “If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I’ll always worry about you. I can’t help it.” amara insists, doe eyes looking into his. is it bad she wants to be the one he comes to when he needs someone? whether to talk, vent, a shoulder to cry on. while it’s not exactly the answer she asked, it’s something she should’ve expected. she knew him, when he is ready to talk, she’ll be here.

sleep is an odd thing. it’s difficult for him to understand the need for it again, considering the fact that he was motionless for centuries. being stuck in tomb for so long takes a toll on someone’s stability, especially when they’re trust into hell not too long after. in between that was his time spent on the other side, which was just as aimless as being in a tomb for so long since he didn’t have amara with him. being a witch again, alive and breathing, means that he has to sleep. but he doesn’t want to. he’ll do anything he can not to, and part of him doesn’t even understand why that is. 

perhaps it’s the vulnerability that comes with it, or the sheer fact that he’d rather not find out what dreams consist of after a life that only seems to consist of rather traumatic experiences. still, he isn’t thinking about himself. when amara speaks, he only things of her, only worries about her. “ why? ” he asks softly, eyelids lifting open. his tone is curious and concerned, but hoping to hear that everything is okay again. at her next response, he chuckles quietly, lips pulled up in a smile. “ i always miss you, amara, ” and it’s true; silas has grown codependent with the mere thought of her, and being without amara doesn’t feel normal anymore. after being ripped from her multiple times, all he wants is to spend as much time as possible with her.

it’s not unusual for her to toss and turn, if anything it’s a normal occurrence. one she doesn’t make a habit of talking about. since being pulled back      away from wherever she was, friends or family have been nonexistent, she didn’t know anyone and the only person she wanted to talk too, wasn’t here. she couldn’t blame him, she hoped wherever he was, he found peace and someday, she would find her way back to him. it always comes back to the same argument. 

“I don’t know, my mind has been elsewhere. I cannot will myself to rest when you’re not next to me.” and it was the truth, just not the whole truth. she would feel much better, if he was beside her. at least, this way she can keep a close eye on him so he doesn’t disappear in the morning. losing him is a fate worse then death, she can’t do it a second time around. that night will always play on her mind, even when they don’t talk about it. a soft grin rests on the corner of her lips, positioning herself so she was adjacent to him, moving her arms to his side now, “I should hope so,” amara joked, a light one at that. she removed a hand to poke his cheek with her index finger gently, leaving it there. “how are you feeling? are you alright?” she asked, resting her chin on his shoulder, near the crook of his neck.

silas doesn’t know what it means to live. its been so long since he was able to in a genuine, freewill way, that now all he’s been fixated on is revenge. his plan of action is still in the works as he gets to know some of the locals and reunite with the those who led him to his demise. still, the thought of being able to give this town what it deserves keeps him busy when he’s not with amara. regardless, it’s clear that all that matters to him is her. outside of that, revenge is just something to keep him busy when he realizes that he has no ambitions outside of amara. protecting her definitely counts as something that drives him, but with things seeming to be cooling off in terms of the war, silas doesn’t have very many more places to turn. 

he feels like a teenage boy trying to find his place in the world, and he hates it. all he knows is that amara is everything to him, and with her here, there’s so many things that can go wrong, as they did so many times for them already. it’s a constant worry of his, often devouring him, which doesn’t make being alive any easier to deal with. when he feels her arms around him, though, a sense of ease settles in that he only experiences when he’s around her. it’s intoxicating, almost, and he can never get enough of being with her. “ amara, ” silas responds in the same tone as hers, his fingers grazing over her arms as he leans back just slightly, allowing himself to fully savor the moment. his eyelids flutter closed, a small sigh departing his life before he speaks again. “ it’s late. you should be resting. ” whereas his thoughts are racing at hours like these, he never would have thought that amara would be up at this hour. “ is everything okay? ” he’s quick to add this last bit, making it obvious that his fears overcome him more often that he likes to think.

the concept of forever sounded like heaven on earth, and she’d rather have always. forever is something they’ll always strive to be, but always is within her, in her soul. every part of her knowing no matter what, she will always love him. every fiber of her being, finding its way back to him. a promise that even in death nothing could be taken away from their love, nothing could make it any less real, any less alive. the errors and trials sacrificed along the way have proven time and time again how right they are, how right he is for her. 

they’ve suffered enough. since the first day she set forth in this world, amara promised herself not to take anything for granted because life is precious, life is priceless. you can’t put a price on love or friendship. for as long as she lives, silas won’t be taken for granted, these moments won’t be taken for granted. the feeling hadn’t sunk in entirely when she was feeling so many things all at once. rejoicing in the touch of his fingertips, his heat. these arms made especially for him, her heart beats, as though it were made solely for him. she swears it’s pulsating rapidly than normal, against the safety of his back. “I can’t sleep.” murmured amara, humming softly soon after. “everything is fine, my love.” the whitelighter waste no time assuring the warlock of this, “I miss you.” she professed. butterflies all-round, relieved to have gotten that off her chest    even though it was not a lie, it was enough for now. light smile ascends to her features, shutting them glowing green hues presently while instinct kicks in, grip secures more around him faintly.

they NEVER talked about it, about what it meant for the both of them being back, together and separately. she read in an article somewhere that it’s important for couples in relationships, ( is that what they were? they haven't defined the relationship yet and that seems like a equally important step, maybe the whitelighter is simply a hopeless romantic ), to keep their independence ; something amara is POSITIVE she can do but she doesn’t want to not go to him for support if ever needing ( yearning to be close to ) him, in need of consoling or worse case scenario, a NIGHTMARE. they come and go, sometimes they are what she suffered through as the anchor to the other side, other times her parents appear in her dreams, only to haunt her. some of the time, she awoke and they are long forgotten.

she thought about this over and over and came to the same conclusion, telling him would be a bad idea, what good could come of it other then bringing up the past they both want stayed buried? then, another thought occurred. he is, the only person she could talk too about this, if anyone understands more then her, it’s him. he is her constant. maybe, the topic won’t even be brought up, maybe, once she sees him, she can decide for herself on what to do next, maybe, she won’t have to tell him. not now, anyway. later, another time. they are just starting to get back to themselves, to each other. 

( the former immortal wished more than anything in this world to stay in their little bubble of ignorance and enjoy the company of one another for as long as humanly possible. ) so, a bright blue light SHOWN amara leaving from the place she occupied, to the one person she seeks now ( & always ). was it a bad time of the night for the whitelighter to pop in unannounced? she did hint to silas that wherever he might be, she’ll always find him. she’ll always sense him, it’s a whitelighter thing and all      a HER thing. in her pajamas of all sights, her hair up in a messy bun and the bags under her eyes could clue her warlock in the happenings. the female lay her green hues on the source of her relief, a smile danced across her features. for he has his back turned to her, for she noticed him before he noticed her and she cant help admiring him in adoration. it’s only his back, sure, but it’s been a very long time since she saw any of him. she’ll love all of him until she dies. for real this time, not even death can do them part. 

A soft sigh of relief departs, the female’ stepped forward towards silas, ( before revealing her next course of action, she muttered his name, audible enough for the male to hear in the room of just the two of them ) “silas..” Amara alerts him of her presence before folding her arms around his chest, resting her head against his back in a gentle embrace. giving him barely any time to react to her own profound of affection.

I do not want to be alone with my thoughts.” after the nightmares she’s been having, company wouldn’t be so bad. “you could never be a distraction.” she assured the older male.
