Performance in Lara Favaretto’s Doing
We were invited to participate in the performance of Doing as part of The Event Sculpture Series at The Henry Moore Institute. The event involved three stints of labour spread across three days during which we were instructed to break down a block of marble to dust. We used a hammer and chisel to work at the surface of the blocks and the sounds and rhythms generated through this process were used as part of an installation within the gallery.
