“And then the alien killed them all.”
Men and Women are mutually in a terrible place in our modern society. Neither one respects the roles played by the other in the past, neither sees any value in the roles they may play in the future. They are looking for an identity in other men and women, ignoring who they could be themselves.
It's because I have a large penis and balls and it's uncomfortable to mash my thighs together like a woman and have it all bunch up like a satchel of fruit. CHECK YOUR INTERNAL GENITALIA PRIVILEGE

The whole “I’m not like other people” movement should really be called the “I don’t want people to treat me the way they treat other people” movement because that’s what it really is. People know that a person who wears makeup is as respectable as a person who wears none. A person who’s played every Final Fantasy game is as respectable as a person who digs Candy Crush. A person who started their own law firm is as respectable as a single person who works in the service industry. A person who enjoys casual sex is as respectable as a person who has never had her first kiss. A person who has no interest in people is as respectable as a person who loves their partner. A person who reads People magazine is as respectable as a person who reads Dostoyevsky. People have been extensively shamed for saying “I’m not like other people” when what they are really saying, maybe without knowing it, is “I’ve heard the way people talk about specific types of people, typically people who do things that they don’t understand or relate to, and I really, really want them to separate me from that and see me as a person who is worthy of being respected.” How much respect a person gets from people is very rarely indicative of how much they deserves. “I don’t want you to treat me the way you treat other people, because you treat other people like shit.”
Fixed for equality
...one of the great secrets of human nature is that the one thing people want more than love, security, sex, chocolate or big-screen TV's is to feel hard done by. Why? Because being hard done by is the shit. Feeling hard done by is the sweetest of drugs. If you're being persecuted -- it must mean you're doing the right thing, right? You get the mellow buzz of the moral high ground, but without arrogantly claiming it as your own. You get an instant, supportive community in a big dark scary world of such scope it may well literally be beyond rational human processing. When you are hard done by, you get purpose in a life where otherwise, you'd have to find your own. And when you ride that high, then no amount of logic, no pointing out that in actuality you and your beliefs are at a high point of popularity and influence for the last hundred years -- is going to pry that sweet crack-pipe of moral indignation from your hands.
