You know, if you want to catch a purse snatcher…. then…. why not have the suspect come to you?’ Cindy remarked with a sassy laugh, as she rocked on her heels and toes for a moment. Her eyes lit up and she added cautiously, ”I’m not sure how the department would feel about you and Ponch toting around Gucci bags. Sgt. Getraer might say they’d clash with your uniforms.” She couldn’t help but offer her suggestion. It was the least she could do for the boys who seemed to enjoy sassing her in return. Then with a sigh she breathed, “in all seriousness though, we do have a huge problem with the bugger. He’s taken nearly fifteen purses off of helpless and defenseless women.” ((Cindy is going into sass mode. XDD ))

Jon laughed it off, “I think we’ll take a hard pass on wearing around purses, but you do have a point... maybe we could use you as bait to draw out the purse snatcher!” Jon suggested combating Cindy’s sass.

He knew she was just trying to get a rise out of him, and he wasn’t going to let that happen. “You could suggest the purse toting to Ponch and see what he says, ” he smirked back at her.

“Let’s talk to Getraer to see if we can get a task force set up for this. what’dya say?”

“Sent to get to know us?” he questioned. This seemed unusual but he figured he’d go along with it. “The name is Jon Baker” he muttered, not knowing what else to say. “...and you already know that i’m a California Highway Patrol officer. What else do you wanna know?”

Jon jumped in to action, drawing his Colt Python 380 from his holster.

“Get down on the ground NOW!” he shouted, pointing his weapon at the robber.
