But yeah. Wanted to see what roleplaying as the resident bastard himself was like, so here we are. Hope I’m able to do him justice!

Probably my good looks and charm.
Wesker laughs as he pulls out a cigarette and lights it. “Good looks..,” he trails off, eyes roaming over Leon — though the action can’t be seen due to his sunglasses. “Alright, I’ll give you that one. Charm however? I’m not so sure,” he hums before taking a drag of his cigarette.
”No? I haven’t heard any complaints. Certainly not from you or Chris..” he trails off. From what he’s heard, mentioning Chris should be a sure fire way to piss him off.
Wesker’s lip twitches slightly as he takes another drag of his cigarette. “Well, you wouldn’t have heard any complaints from me specifically, as this is the first time I’ve interacted with you,” he says as he ashes his cigarette. He says nothing else, obviously avoiding the topic of Chris Redfield.
”And? First impressions?” He smirks. He noticed the lack of response regarding Chris.
Wesker shrugs as he leans back against a wall, continuing to smoke his cigarette. “Well, as of right now, you’re at least not the most annoying man I’ve met. You’re definitely more.. calm, than others I can think of.”
He snickers and slowly wraps his fingers around the gun that is obstructed from Wesker’s view by a pillow. “Careful. With all that praise, people might think you’re going soft.”
Wesker chuckles as he drops his cigarette, stomping on it to put it out. “I wouldn’t call that praise, Mr. Kennedy. I’m simply giving credit where credit is due.”
He’s about to grab out another cigarette, but then his eyes flick down to the pillow at Leon’s side. He saw the man reach behind it.
“Well, thanks.”
With one hand, he throws the pillow at Wesker’s face and shoots him with the other.
Wesker smacks the pillow away before it hits him, just as easily dodging the bullet that was fired at him.
He speeds over to Leon and grabs his throat with one hand, pinning him to the wall. He snatches the gun out of the man’s hand with the other before pinning his wrist to the wall as well.
He sighs, clicking his tongue. “Now I thought you were smarter than that, Mr. Kennedy. Did you really expect any of that to work?”
Leon makes a choking noise as he scratches at Wesker’s hand around his throat. “Worth- cough- a shot-“

Once his laughter dies down he raises a brow, humming as he looks Leon up and down. “Now, what to do with you..,” he purrs.

He gratefully sucks in as much air as he can. “Could let me go.”

Keeping his hold on Leon’s throat, he releases the man’s wrist so he can pull out a cigarette. He sticks it between his teeth and then lights it, holding it between two fingers after he pockets his lighter.
He takes a drag, exhaling the smoke right into Leon’s face before he continues speaking. “I’m not worried about you succeeding of course — you wouldn’t unless I wanted you to. I’m just in the mood for something a little more entertaining.”
Leon coughs and tries to force the smoke out of his lungs. He always hated cigarettes. Reminded him of his dad.
“I’m entertaining.”
Wesker sighs before taking another drag of his cigarette. He decides to take pity on Leon this time however and turns his head before blowing out the smoke.
“I can’t say you really are all that entertaining at the moment. Would that change if I let you go?”
Leon looks him up and down. “Depends.”
Wesker raises a brow as he tilts his head slightly. “Oh? On what?”
“On what counts as ‘entertaining’ to you.”
Wesker hums, thinking as he looks Leon up and down. “I’ve never seen you fight before. I’ve heard tales of your feats, but I think I’d like to see some for myself.”
Still holding Leon’s throat he drags the man down to his basement. They pass a few specimen tanks holding BOW’s that Leon has fought before, including lickers and infected dogs.
Wesker only stops walking once they’re standing above what appears to be a large arena. He releases Leon’s throat and opens up a large cache directly beside him.
Without giving Leon a chance to catch his breath he hands the man a sidearm and a box of ammo. “Good luck,” he drawls before pushing Leon down into the arena. Thankfully for the man the fall isn’t that drastic — he should only have the wind knocked out of him, nothing else.
The wind is, in fact, knocked out of him. Once he gathers his breath, he stands. “Seriously? If you wanted to see me fight, all you had to do was look at some camera files I’m sure you have access to!”
Wesker laughs as he looks down at Leon. “Now where’s the fun in that!”
He pulls out a tablet, looking to see what specimens are available to be let loose in the arena. He smirks when he comes across what he thinks will be the best one.
“I’d keep your eyes ahead of you, Mr. Kennedy. Things are about to get quite dicey down there,” he says before releasing the specimen of his choice — an Uroboros Mkono.

Wesker raises a brow, exhaling smoke. “Oh are you now? You really think irritating me is a wise decision?”, he asks, unable to help the slight growl that creeps into his voice.
Chris throws his arms around Wesker once he sits up. He squeezes him, thankful the man is alive. Wesker is always barely alluding death, and Chris isn't sure his heart can take it much more.
"Even without all that you're strong! God, for a genius, you're so dumb..." He trails off, burying his face in his shoulder. He knows this is a point of contention between them, but he can't help but let it all out. He almost lost him...
Wesker grunts when Chris throws his arms around him and squeezes. He sighs as he wraps his arms around Chris, hugging him back.
“You know given the companies I was dealing with, and the people I had to work alongside, that mere human strength would not be enough,” he says softly as he begins gently stroking Chris’s hair.
Chris sighs into Wesker's neck. Maybe things weren't so simple? Maybe Wesker had no choice but to fulfill the role he was born for... and Chris had no choice but to constantly get in his way...
"I don't want to have to be your enemy, Wesker..." The hand in his hair helps calm him but there are still so many things they needed to sort out. Where do they go from here? Do they go back to fighting each other and just hold this day as a good memory?
Wesker sighs, giving Chris one last gentle squeeze before he pulls away, placing his hands on the man’s shoulders. “I know you don’t. And I.. I feel the same way.”
He gets up off the bed, running a hand through his hair as he paces. “I just have too many obligations. There’s many people that would ensure my death if I’m no longer useful, if I’m fully human again.”
He’s grits his teeth as he turns to face Chris. “So that is why I can’t afford to just cure myself, to rid myself of all my viruses and uroboros. If I do, I’m no longer useful, and I’ll be killed for it.”

Wesker laughs as he pulls out a cigarette and lights it. “Good looks..,” he trails off, eyes roaming over Leon — though the action can’t be seen due to his sunglasses. “Alright, I’ll give you that one. Charm however? I’m not so sure,” he hums before taking a drag of his cigarette.
”No? I haven’t heard any complaints. Certainly not from you or Chris..” he trails off. From what he’s heard, mentioning Chris should be a sure fire way to piss him off.
Wesker’s lip twitches slightly as he takes another drag of his cigarette. “Well, you wouldn’t have heard any complaints from me specifically, as this is the first time I’ve interacted with you,” he says as he ashes his cigarette. He says nothing else, obviously avoiding the topic of Chris Redfield.
”And? First impressions?” He smirks. He noticed the lack of response regarding Chris.
Wesker shrugs as he leans back against a wall, continuing to smoke his cigarette. “Well, as of right now, you’re at least not the most annoying man I’ve met. You’re definitely more.. calm, than others I can think of.”
He snickers and slowly wraps his fingers around the gun that is obstructed from Wesker’s view by a pillow. “Careful. With all that praise, people might think you’re going soft.”
Wesker chuckles as he drops his cigarette, stomping on it to put it out. “I wouldn’t call that praise, Mr. Kennedy. I’m simply giving credit where credit is due.”
He’s about to grab out another cigarette, but then his eyes flick down to the pillow at Leon’s side. He saw the man reach behind it.

Wesker raises a brow, exhaling smoke. “Oh are you now? You really think irritating me is a wise decision?”, he asks, unable to help the slight growl that creeps into his voice.
Chris throws his arms around Wesker once he sits up. He squeezes him, thankful the man is alive. Wesker is always barely alluding death, and Chris isn't sure his heart can take it much more.
"Even without all that you're strong! God, for a genius, you're so dumb..." He trails off, burying his face in his shoulder. He knows this is a point of contention between them, but he can't help but let it all out. He almost lost him...
Wesker grunts when Chris throws his arms around him and squeezes. He sighs as he wraps his arms around Chris, hugging him back.
“You know given the companies I was dealing with, and the people I had to work alongside, that mere human strength would not be enough,” he says softly as he begins gently stroking Chris’s hair.

Wesker raises a brow, exhaling smoke. “Oh are you now? You really think irritating me is a wise decision?”, he asks, unable to help the slight growl that creeps into his voice.
Chris smiles gently. That is a huge admission on Wesker's part. It isn't an 'I love you too,' but it's as close as Wesker's comfortable with. Chris is patient though, they can work on words of affirmation later. Besides, actions speak louder in Chris's opinion and they'd acted out their feeling plenty tonight.
His hand slips down to grip Wesker's hand, threading his fingers through his. "I guess you were right when you said our fates are forever intertwined."
He cups the side of Wesker's face, forcing him to look at him. His thumb gently caresses his cheek.
Wesker bites his lip, still avoiding Chris’s gaze for a moment. When he finally looks Chris in the eye there’s something almost sad in Wesker’s gaze.
“Yes.. I suppose I was..,” he murmurs softly.
This is all just too much. He was raised to be cold, emotionless — he was constantly told that he was a monster, that he’d always be alone, that no one would love him. Because he was unlovable. He was nothing but a weapon, a means to an end.
So it’s hard to believe that Chris is telling the truth. That he isn’t just trying to get close to Wesker so he can easily take him down later on.
But for now.. he supposes he can live with that chance.
Chris can tell it's not joy in Wesker's eyes... is this not what he wants? If it isn't, he can easily push Chris away.
"Hey, something is obviously on your mind. You can talk to me about it if you want." He can't promise it will solve the problem but he's always willing to hear him out.
Wesker shakes his head, forcing a soft smile. “It’s nothing. I just… this’ll just take some getting used to,” he murmurs as he places a gentle hand on Chris’s cheek.
“Come on, let’s head inside and go to bed.”
He doesn’t give Chris a chance to respond, immediately leading the man inside and into the bedroom. Once they’re in bed he shuts the lights off and lets the man cuddle up to him. He wraps his arms around Chris and they soon drift off to sleep.

Hours go by — it’s morning now. And Wesker’s gone.
He’s in the master bathroom, laying flat on his back on the floor. His veins are black and his breathing is ragged, his hair a mess. Scattered around him are syringes full of PG67A/W — he got so absorbed in what was going on with Chris yesterday that he missed a dose of the suppressant.
So now here he is on the bathroom floor, his body slowly shutting down. He’s dying…
Chris wakes up with a weird feeling in his stomach. Immediately noticing Wesker's absence, he figures that is the cause. He got ditched... but then, he sees the bathroom door cracked open, a light spilling out of the crevice.
"Wesker?" He gets up, padding over to the door. He knocks before peeking in--
Panic immediately strikes him as he hurries to the fallen man's side. The many injections scattered over the floor are instantly familiar. At first, he doesn't know if Wesker overdosed or needed a shot. But the dark veins throbbing over his face gives him enough of a hint.
Grabbing a syringe, he stabs it into him, injecting him with the contents. Cradling his head in his lap, Chris can only pray he isn't too late. He taps his cheek with a palm. "Come on... you can't die on me!"
Wesker groans when Chris stabs him with the syringe.
He begins speaking as though he can’t hear the panic in Chris’s voice, see the worried expression on his face.
“Now’s your chance.. you can overdose me, you can—“ Wesker is cut off by a sudden bout of coughing, wincing as black fluid spews out of his mouth. He slowly turns his head so he doesn’t choke on it.
“Y-you can kill me.. that’s what you’ve truly wanted all this time, isn’t it?” He asks, his voice weak and hoarse as he looks up at Chris with sorrowful eyes.
Chris flinches as if Wesker hit him. After everything, he still thinks he plans to kill him? What about their talk? Did it mean nothing to him?
He carefully wipes Wesker's mouth with the back of his hand, cradling him tighter. "Don't say something like that. Killing you has never been what I wanted!"
Tears bite at his eyes, one managing to escape and slide down his cheek as he strokes the blond's messy hair.
Wesker’s eyes soften as he looks up at Chris. He reaches up a shaky hand and places it on Chris’s cheek, gently wiping away the tear that falls from his eye.
“I’m sorry… I just.. I’m not used to being loved, it’s still surprising to me..,” he murmurs softly.
He coughs some more, groaning after the fit is over. “I.. I believe you now,” he says, something almost like adoration appearing in his eyes as he gazes at Chris.
Chris places a hand over Wesker's on his cheek; he doesn't like how cold he is. It's too close to death for his comfort. More tears fall faster now... but he doesn't allow them to freeze him up.
With a grunt, he lifts Wesker into his arms and returns to the bedroom. Carefully, he places him on the bed, pulling the blankets up to his waist.
"You better believe me," he sniffles, smoothing Wesker's hair out of his face. He quickly switches gears however, fussing over him.
"D-did I make it in time...? Will you be okay?"

He nods as he looks up at Chris. “Yes, I’ll be okay… the serum will just take a bit of time to fully—“ He’s cut off when he feels a sudden, sharp pain throughout his body. He gasps, squeezing his eyes shut as he grips onto the sheets, his back arching slightly.
Once it passes his body relaxes and he falls back onto the bed. “Fuck..,” he groans. “As I was saying, it’ll just take a bit of time to fully kick in..”
Chris panics when Wesker's voice cuts out. Grabbing his hand, he holds it between his as the wave of pain passes.
How is this human evolution if missing one shot left him in such a state? It felt like he was watching over someone going through withdrawals from heroin or something.
"Jesus, Wesker... Why? Why do you put yourself through this? To be a little stronger?" He just can't wrap his mind around someone actually wanting this. His face is filled with worry and a tinge of irritation.
"What if you're alone and this happens? Or you run out of serum?" Tears slowing, he presses his lips to Wesker's knuckles. He doesn't want to think of the worst case scenario but he can't deny it when it's staring him in the face.
