I just returned from running some errands and I feel like I literally turned into an ice block while doing so. I’m not sure if I can rock the Rudolf-look I got going on right now but I don’t think I’ve got much of a choice - when did it become winter anyways? Weren’t we all just complaining about it being way too mild a few weeks ago? On a happier note - I got some new sweaters to match the weather, so at least I’m prepared for even colder days now.

Oh god. That’s awful. I’m trying to stay away from the cold, but unfortunately the heat in my apartment seems to have broke and now I have to walk around my apartment in layers until I get it fixed. Not really fun. Plus I’m running out of clean sweaters.

Weekly call from mom and dad officially went over without a hitch, it’s going to be enjoyable to be able to use being too tired for an excuse not to talk to them anymore.

Oh god, she does amazing in both those. It’s so beautiful, and to witness it right there? It never fails to give me goosebumps! 

What’s your favorite broadway show overall? Now I’m quite curious.

Definite goose bump feelies! And nooooo! Thats such an unfair question! How can I possibly pick just one, there’s so many amazing one from old school theater to the newer stuff. It really depends on my mood and what i’m feeling up too. And I obviously have such a deep appreciation for Hedwig.

I know, I know. It was quite an unfair question. You’re totally right! And there are way too many to pick from. I’m not even sure what mine would be, honestly. I loved each one I worked on, and I love so many more too.

Ooh, you know, that’d actually have to be No One Mourns the Wicked. The whole ensemble is on the stage at once and it’s such a great way to start the show. Also it has good transitions. You?

I’m going to go with the cliche answer and say I always go with the heart wrenching Defying Gravity, when she flies and the tears well up. And I love As Long as You’re Mine. That’s the romantic sap side of me.

Yeah, exactly. That’s one way to look at it, definitely! God, I remember seeing her and Idina in Wicked awhile back. They were fabulous. It’s such an honor and an incredible experience to know that I’m doing what they have done before me. It’s wonderful.

You’re lucky you got to see them in it. I saw it up in Boston the first tour it did, the person i went with fell asleep during it. But since I have much better memories surrounding the production. What’s your favorite song in the show?

Understandable! Honestly, I can be too for some productions. It’s all a part of being an actor, I think. But yeah, we’d love to see you come by!

Oh god, Yeah. The first time I did it I actually had a panic attack. I was freaking out real bad. I left for my dressing room during rehearsal and as soon as I walked into my dressing room and saw Couver, I felt better. I don’t exactly know why or how, but I regained the confidence needed to get through it and everything went smoothly.

I don’t know about that, I’m sure your theater guard, she’d quite literally just shudder and say ‘didn’t we finally get rid of that schmuck a few months ago?’ I’m kidding of course, she’s a cool lady. 

I think, like anything, the first time you do it you have nerves and you don’t know what to expect. But the show is such a well oiled machine, and hey, they never dropped Kristin. Now you’re just a pro at it.

Were you a fan of the Wicked books before the show?

I actually was. As a kid, I grew up loving theatre. I watched, read, learned anything theatre related that interested me. I never thought I would be playing Glinda today.

Most important quality for a significant other to have?

Ooh. I think the ability to appreciate my some what dark sense of humor as well as have one himself is attractive, so probably that…

Face, hair, and then down south.
