I may have stupidly attempted a tikitok recipe for kofta and flatbread made from scratch.

If these things don't look more appetising after I've cooked them I may be ordering in. Because like now they look like literal shit.

(why did I use chilli flakes and not powder! That just makes them look worse!).

Not happy with them, can definitely tweak them but the gf flatbread worked a treat.

Fresh Start?

Every so often, I take a look in here and I kind of like what I was writing and what the voice of it was. And every so often I think to myself "Maybe...maybe you start this up again. Get some words down on virtual paper?"

Well, maybe I should. For one it'll be a diversion in these unprecedented times and secondly? Secondly it may stop that voice talking back to me and telling me I should do something with it. At least that way I may actually find out that those voices and conversations in my head are the writer's part of my brain firing up and not that, y'know, I've undiagnosed schizophrenia.

Just a thought. Admittedly the other is that I've posted for the first time in...how ever many years and used it to debate whether to start this up or not...

So, approximately 12 months before it's release, the online shenanigans relating to Dark Knight Rises has already started.

This, apparently, is Bane.  Who is about to enter the Mortal Kombat tournament and kick the shit out of Scorpion.

I think.

Anyway, it's the Nolan Brothers at work again and, let's face it, Dark Knight was utterly brilliant, so we can probably let them off the daft looking mask from a promo shot taken completely out of context of the movie.

I hope.

It's a fairly old idea, but it's done brilliantly and Blinky is effectively creepy.

toyhaven: "Batman: Black and White" Mignola inspired statue

I wouldn't normally bother with statues (or, y'know, toys) based on comic books or, indeed, any toys or statues, but this is incredible.

There's a couple of reasons as to why;

1) It looks like a Mignola Batman and 2) It's confusing my brain, because it looks 2D when it's actually not.
