Formed in 2004 by Tim Dwyer, an artist and musician from New England. His sound has been influenced by meditative music such as Javanese gamelan and minimal drone. Dwyer's music is sparse yet texturally intricate, lying in some sort of electro-acoustic limbo between Namlook's more dusty ambient collaborations, literal Phonography and contemporary classical experimentalism.

Review: Savor by Off Land

Review of Savor / January 22nd 2026

Off Land (aka Tim Dwyer) maintains an inner self worth expressing. Showing us a world of elsewhere his three track EP Savor (35:06) conjures a terrain of shifting space and depth. Placing the listener both in the moment and suspended entirely outside of it results in a deepening of the present - that instant between our infinite past and hurrying future. In a luxuriant fullness of texture the music feels forthright and energized, as a spacious, timeless aural undertow of electronic timbres and tones conjures a surreal sonic realm. Further inside this shapeless midnight a primitive beauty emerges. When a delicate sequencer interlude disengages the mind, cloudy drones drift and dive in reflective transcendence - as we wander through Savor like a visitor to someone else's dream. What may seem like mere moments in Spacemusic, come across as a lifetime in the common realm. If works such as Savor confirm the presence of an unseen magic around us, a force radiating the hopes, beliefs and desires of humanity, then the channelling of this power could begin the world anew...

Savor is a collection of pieces, each celebrating a moment of creative collaboration. 'Savor This Moment' is a studio version of a piece that I wrote for and performed live in December 2025, as part of the 2 night, collaborative mutli-media performance, The Feast. 'Fathomable Glow' is an extended version of the audio component to a new audio/visual collaboration, titled Fathomable Light. 'Drifted' is a drastically reworked version of an older Off Land track that I performed live as part of a winter themed diorama festival in December 2024.
