Loneliness.

Tis the human condition. To be seperate. To be the I. To be apart from creation. To steward something of which we do not own, of which we are different.

We are alone. I am alone - and I am lonely.

But how much more lonely would God be? He is the only one. The creator. How much would wish to be a part of all he has made. All the hurts and all the happiness. Beautiful and broken yet whole - whole, apart from Him.

How lonely He must be. How lonely it must be to be created in His likeness. How lonely it is to be.

How lonely. How alone I feel.

How wonderful it is to sleep. To cease being seperate and to be in a world where all is the same - in the world of dreams and possibility.

Where maybe it is possible to be with God - the only other sould more lonely than I. Thus He finds me in His dreams as well. Or maybe we dream the same dream - to be together in a place of possibility. Or simply, just to be together. To be. Together.

But that is but a dream, and tomorrow we awaken. And He is there, yes, in all of creation - yet seperate. And we exist, yes, among all He created - yet seperate. Tis the human condition.

It’s ok to be where I am. I don’t have to wake up tomorrow and be a pro. And I think that mentality has gone a long way for me in terms of just surrendering. To the moment, surrendering to where I am, and surrendering even in my failures.
