      While it was unusual for a parents of any high station to keep their child    close oppose to entirely giving them into the care of a nanny, though she    was rather happy to give up when the time came to feed the baby, Victoria    hated the thought of anyone else having their child. To think that one day she    would be sent off to marry was akin to SICKENING. But, of course, there was    more than enough time between the mother watching her baby sleep and the    day when she would become a wife herself.

                                   ❝ I’m sorry, ❞ she whispered before sighing as she tore her    gaze away from baby Victoria, making her way back across the room to climb    upon the bed and retake the place she had been laying in, before she had taken    to thinking out loud.  ❝ Can a mother not be proud? ❞ she asked in her adopted,    gentle tone of voice as she lay by his side.  ❝  Can a mother not look to the day    she has a son who can grow to be a living image of his most wonderful and    handsome papa?  ❞

it takes the cyber planner a second to process what’s just been said. he’s trying not to let the flaw of his anger overcome him. though — cyber planners were known to borrow certain traits of their hosts, whether they liked it or not. it was too easy for it to flow through him. his fist clenched and his teeth began to grind. mister clever had half a mind to grab her throat right just now.
