          kalel’s thick brows shrugged upon her fellow  prisoner’s words as green optics searched              the cell. she found its design dull and dark. then again, these were designed for prisoners                    who’d likely never see the light of day again in the flesh.      why tease them with porthole                windows?  but she wasn’t concerned about her comfort.  she’d be uncomfortable until her              release should that ever come. and if not, then her escape.     for the time being, however,              she  was in  the company  of someone  who knew  how to  make  light of a  bad  situation              which was comforting in itself.                                                                  kalel wasn’t alone.

            “apparently.”  kalel replied with a short chuckle, almost scoffing at the prospect of the first              order arresting someone for prancing in a meadow. “---wait.                  they captured you               because  you were skipping  through a meadow  or because they were searching for you              for  another  reason  and happened to be  skipping  through a  meadow when  they  found              you?”                  kalel asked, brow raised only slightly, the ghost of a simper on pink lips.

            “so this isn’t a passing habit, but a frequent pastime of theirs...”     the brunette               sat on the bench jutting out from the wall,   sighing as she took in the desolate              cell.                                           “seem’s they’re targeting brown haired females.”
