  hand to her forehead and an exasperated sigh, she sat down on the edge of leo’s bed. she knew all too well about coming from what could only be described as a fucked up family, but as far as kara was concerned, what she’d seen of jordi’s mom seemed pretty awesome. especially in comparison to her own.

now he's the one to sigh,  raising an eyebrow as she speaks. don't get him wrong, he did LOVE his mom, he just didn't believe that she should  have been a mom. sending  your only child to mexico at a young age? bad parenting. not even dropping your son off, but letting him go on a bus alone? worse. jordi had seen kara's mom's around, & they didn't seem that bad.
