adrian was tired the holidays always wore him out. he had agreed to go home to be with his family for the holidays though he could only take so much of it. he was on his way back to the dorms when he ran right into someone. “oh shit! fuck.” he muttered. “you ok?” he asked quietly.

phoebe was really missing her family at this point, she thought she could handle being on campus for christmas - but it was just so boring, quiet and bleak. to try and clear her mind, she thought that a walk would do her some good. but before she could go anywhere, she bumped into someone on the way. she stumbled back slightly, before letting out a laugh. “sorry, yeah -- i was in a world of my own and didn’t see you.”

jacy had wanted to go back home but his aunt wasnt having it. she wanted him to have no contact with his father so he refused to go back to his aunts.. so he stayed behind. trying his best to make the most of it he had seen someone ahead of him not too far from the school. “Hey…” he said loudly.. “let me walk you?” he offered. “it’s getting dark out here.”

her parents where off travelling, of course she would have loved to have gone with them but she wasn’t really a fan of where they went and she didn’t really get along with her grandparents either - which was why she was still on campus. with a hot cup of cocoa on her hands, she was heading back to campus when she heard a voice from behind her. a smile spread across the brunettes lips at the offer. “well aren’t you sweet?”

poppy had heard that other people’s night had been pretty eventful at the dance, but unlike the rest of the students at harwick, poppy’s night had been pretty uneventful and she wished otherwise. “so how was the night for everyone else? mine was pretty uneventful and boring, aside from the fact that i had about 3 cups of that spiked punch and i woke up with the world’s worst hangover.” @harwickstarters

phoebe can’t remember her night, for the majority of it anyway. the last thing she remembered though, was dancing with her friends to try and catch some of the male teachers eyes - she didn’t know whether it worked though because her head was spinning. “you only had 3 drinks and got a hangover?” she asked, with a little laugh. “did you eat anything during the day, that’s the only explanation i can come up with.” the brunette added before giving a shrug of her shoulders at the others question. “i don’t know, i can’t remember anything - i just remember waking up in someones bed that wasn’t mine but luckily it was empty so i could snea out without being seen.” she answered with a shudder.

the blonde chuckled softly as she walked arm in arm with the brunette, “i promise i haven’t told anyone else they’re my favorite. well, other than my mum. which doesn’t count.” though they’d just met, rory prided herself in being able to read vibes and phoebe was only radiating good ones. “alright then the plan is, i’ll swim, you’ll keep me company and we’ll both get drunk. this honestly sounds like an ideal date. pleasure to meet you, phoebe. seems like i got quite lucky meeting you right off the bat, huh? i literally just arrived earlier today.”

“hmm....” phoebe pondered playfully, the smirk still playing at her lips before she gently bumped hips with her new friend. “i think i will allow that, but only on this occasion - after this, i’m your only favourite. deal?” she joked. the cheerleader always loved it when she had an instant connection with someone and this was one of those time. “pleasure’s all mine, girl.” she replied honestly, as she pushed open the doors to the swimming pool. “that sounds like a very good plan, hopefully some of the swimming team might join us so that we have some eye candy too.” she cooed, smiling to herself at the thought. “we both got lucky, i think. but, what do you think about the place up to now?”

“you could always tie it up!” plus she figured that a fancy school like this had to use salt water pools or something. when the other girl accepted her offer, the south african squealed, clapping her hands together, “ah! thank you! you’ve just become my new favorite person.” rory’s nose crinkled as she looped an arm with the other’s, “sorry…i bond quickly. i’m rory by the way. obviously if you don’t want to swim, i won’t make you. you could always chill by the side while we get drunk off our arses.”

phoebe always managed to ( or at least tried to ) get along with everyone and it looked like it was going to be really easy for her to get along with rory. the girl was adorable. the brunette allowed her arm to be linked, before she headed off in the direction of the pool. “i like being the favourite! i just hope you haven’t said that to other people because that would really upset me.” she teased, before letting out a laugh. “ah, no see -- that sounds like a much better idea than swimming, rory. i’m phoebe!”
