I can’t remember when it was but Scott let it slip that Jackie gives him a hard time about being around for his students more than his own kid. And it was one of those things where Scott was saying it kind of jokingly but you can tell it’s not. It made me kinda curious what the Scott/Jackie dynamic is like.

I mean, my coaches are husband and wife, and if they didn't coach together I have no idea how they would see each other or have a relationship. I mean I'm sure there are coaches who do it but just being real, a LOT of coaches are single. The ones I know who are married coach together tbh

How often do you think Scott is at the rink coaching. Does it equate to full time hours?

Yes very much so lol. He's a highly decorated olympian who's still rather early in his coaching career and in very high demand. He's working his ass off.

I mean, it's crazy who I share the ice with now (I'm bad, to be clear, but I share ice with Olympians pretty regularly). The top level coaches out here in NJ....I mean, honestly? I don't know how they do it. The travel schedule on top of the on ice coaching demands on top of the off ice logistics and coordination....

This is why I minimize my time at Ice House if I can at all help it bc that place feels like a fucking meat grinder. The STRESS. Unfortunately the world best skate sharpening can only come from Jim at Ice House so I have to brave Hackensack occasionally. 😭😭😭

I have a lot of things I could say about Tessa and Morgan, but I wouldn't use the term "respect" in defining their relationship

Will never get over Scott parting in Florida at the start of Covid lockdown and then marrying a MAGA. But he seems like’s really content in his job and I’m glad to see him thrive there.

He's thrown himself into his work in a way that's genuinely heartening to see. I'm really proud of him. Being a coach is HARD FUCKING WORK. Like...really hard my god. The hours, the travel, the physical demands, the emotional demands, the politics....and you know Scott is not half assing it.

Genuinely proud of him.

What are your thoughts on Tessa’s cosmetic work? Not just the nose, but all the fillers and Botox too

I've already gone on record saying that the reconstruction on her nose was imperative and medically required to prevent complete collapse (think Latoya and Michael Jackson).

I think she's perhaps a bit self conscious about it and so is compensating with all this filler and botox. She hangs out with that Mulroney character and other people of that social strata way too much (where cosmetic work is as regular as dental check ups are for you and me).

Ok well Jackie and Scott both seem like codependent people who don’t like to be alone. I still think they get divorced, but I oddly feel like it’s more likely for Tessa.

Ugh it’s depressing though, maybe I need to just disconnect from it all like they have. Honestly though it’s worrying watching how vacant T seems to be. I also feel like M has anger issues as recently proven by his behaviour on ice, but can’t say this on twitter 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ok but like i have mostly "disconnected" from it (in that Ive truly reached acceptance and believe that where they are is where they NEED to be at this point in their lives, and genuinely do not expend energy wishing or hoping for things to be different). But it doesn't mean I don't get sad. Ultimately, what they had was the closest you can get to actual magic - a spark ignited between two people that set the WORLD on fire.

The fact that that's gone (at least for now) and that they LET it die...well it's sad. A tragedy really. I think it's ok to mourn that loss.

I became a fan of these two this year (weird i know). I dug up all the information i can get from wherever i can (mostly twitter and tumblr) and lemme just say that it's a relief I didnt actually become a fan, let say in like 2018, because i wouldve been a MESS. Right now my opinion on them is how sad it is that they seem to be distant from each other when theyve spent more than half of their lives together. Sorry ive no one to talk to about this i need to let it out!!!

Yes and no. I think she was allowing herself to fall into a pattern she ultimately knew she wasn't going to maintain forever.

You have to remember, when the sex is THAT good, when the chemistry is THAT strong, it's easy to create a "bubble"/fantasy world where your love can transcend anything. They were especially cocooned in those years, which is the only way they could really be "together," because as soon as reality gains a foothold, the cracks appear. and multiply.
