So whenever I feel like my work might actually sprout arms and swallow me whole, she’s really the best person to have around, because she has this inane ability of knowing when to drag me away from it. It’s actually quite maddening, to tell you the truth. Sometimes I wonder if she eats sunshine for breakfast, or if that’s just how she is. And I also think she’s one of the few that understands why I do what I do, so I guess you can say she’s the whole package.”

“Jokes, I promise. – – I really VALUE Annabelle, you know, she’s helped me a lot. I don’t think academically I’d be where I would be if she wasn’t around because I constantly feel inspired to do better when I’m around her? I mean, we’re both very studious, I’d say, but she understands why I study so hard as well more than a lot of people do. And I’d also say she studies as hard as Hermione some days. Plus, while I’m an anxious mess, she loses all of her crap so it helps me not feel as bad when I do something WONKY. Annabelle Lee is definitely a blessing to this earth.”

Sometimes it's better to kill someone than to let them live in pain.

“With the advances we’ve made in not just potion making but also muggle sciences, I think that it’s definitely an option people should look to if they feel their pain is so severe that it can’t be cured. Because chances are, between the two there must be something that can help dilute the pain, at least. But that really depends on their personal views; if they don’t want to live through it and pray to whatever they may believe in that a cure can come along, then obviously I’m going to support that. What I do think is that if we found a way to combine muggle pharmaceuticals and our current potions, or even finding a way to somehow get healers, potioneers, and doctors to discuss what both worlds have discovered and somehow combine them without some deadly reaction, then I feel that we would find a way to make pain more bearable for even the ugliest diseases. Basically what I’m trying to say is I don’t think I’m really entitled to an opinion on it, because I’ve never been in a situation that called for that decision, nor has anyone in my family. Aaand I probably jinxed it. Fingers crossed.”
