I don’t know if it’s just me or what- but probably the least exciting conversation i can have with someone is when they make comments on my looks. To me, this is just a body. Like yeah i live in it, but that’s all that it is. In a way, i view my body with the same detachment you would a house. Like yeah it’s mine but it’s not me, if that makes sense. I’m gonna get older and things are gonna start changing, sagging and aging. Bodies are ephemeral. So thank you for complimenting my house, but is there anything else?

ILY i felt giddy reading that it was such a delicious fulfilment of the prompt 🤤 i LOVE them being a liiittle toxic about each other, not because they're toxic as people but because they're simply obsessed with each other, they need each other, way beyond the bounds of what's considered sensible or decorous. this is basically what characterises their whole clandestine fuckbuddy arrangement over the years. they keep telling themselves they need to end it, that it's wrong/impossible/untenable. but they actually physically emotionally can't do it. so yeah it's bordering on toxic because it's a "you or nothing" kind of feeling between them. and it's SO DELICIOUS
