Beginnings?

I struggle to read research papers, articles and text. I go in with the mindset that I’m not well versed with concepts and this restricts me from understanding or trying to understand things. After a long internal debate and a group discussion with a few mates, I’m trying my best to make peace with not knowing everything.

It IS OKAY if I don’t know things

All my mental boxes and folders need to be filled right away

Once I’m done with the earth-shattering amount of things I have to do this week, I’m going to get ready to do some serious reading, and well write about it. I won’t wait for new years to get started. Resolutions are only bound to be forgotten. I also splurged and bought few books. I think I’ll do a combination to academic and non academic reading

I’ve lost the comfort of reading everyday. There used to be a time, not long ago but just a couple of years ago when I couldn’t go a day without reading, without devouring chapters at a time. I don't know what changed but I’m here to get that joy back.

I’ll probably keep aside time to read after dinner every night.
