He couldn’t think straight, mind too muddled, anxiety upheaved by the mere memories gathered in this place. Struggling to push his thoughts aside, and with much composure as he could muster, he stood behind her and gently took hold of his wrists, stopping her from pounding so profusely. A breath was let out, his chest resting against her back.
“Just calm down, okay? Freaking out isn’t going to get us anywhere. I’m pretty sure the Dread Doctors already got whatever it was they came for, but we should probably still be careful and not make too much noise.”
Lydia took a deep breath, trying to stay calm. She turned around to face Stiles, still looking panicked. The banshee sighed, watching Stiles to make sure he didn’t start freaking out too much.
“You- you’re right. I just... I don’t want to stay here.”
