“Hmm,” Alexander hummed as he glanced around the room, focusing his attention back on the woman who was accompanying him. “Do you think no one would notice if we slipped away?” A grin appeared on his lips as he glanced back at the young woman next to his side. “Other than that, do you have an idea of where we might slip off to?”

Alexander smiled as he watched Eliza, excited for the promise of the surprise he had coming for her. “Hold on,” he told her as he traced his steps out of the room, picking up the small kitten he had waiting in the basket before walking over to her. “Keep your eyes closed and you’ll have to see.” He held out the kitten. “You can open them now.”

Alexander glanced over at the young woman next to him, offering her a small smile. “You think so?” He asked her softly as he reached out and took her hand in his. He leaned down, placing a kiss on the back over hand before giving her hand a squeeze. “Well, then, would you do me the honor of being my first dance for this evening?”

I have a lot bothering me and it feels like i cant talk to anyone

So here's the deal, I'm still using this blog for the next couple of weeks while I get my new blog ready. I'm hoping to finally be getting internet in April (i have a week off)

Any chance at eliciting such a sound from Alexander was taken, John savoring the way Alexander studied him once he broke the kiss. “A likely story,” John teased, grasping Alexander’s hand in his and placing it against his thigh. “But I’ll be kind and believe you.” He flashed a smile down on Alexander, then swung his leg over the fence and dropped down beside him. Despite plenty of room, he situated himself in Alexander’s space, still leaning back against the fence.

A hum escaped him at the compliment—he’d been fishing for it, but it still brightened his smile. “All I needed to do was put my tack away,” he drawled, hand sliding up Alexander’s chest. He fiddled with the material of his shirt where it peeked above his vest. “It would already be done, but I’m currently being distracted.” Fingers brushed the bare skin of Alexander’s throat, gaze meeting his.

A laugh escaped him, tone mirthful as he said, “I can’t help but try to seduce you, even after all this time.”

Alexander couldn’t help but grin, shaking his head as he watched John come down from where he was perched, standing next to him fully. He gazed over John’s body for a long moment before glancing up at the man with a small grin on his lips. He wanted to lean in and kiss John fully. He could do that. This was their home and no one but the two of them here, but he wasn’t going to give John the satisfaction. 

Alexander licked his lips for a moment, glancing down at John’s hand for a moment before looking back at the other man. “Really now? I wonder what’s keeping you so distracted.” He couldn’t help but play around, knowing what kept the other man so distracted. 

He shook his head and smiled at the other man. “It’s fine. It does still work even after all this time.”
