Qira had been getting used to the fact that @vizslajetii had suddenly appeared before her as a Force ghost. As a collector of artefacts, Qira had recently stumbled upon some information about the Darksaber. It had quietly piqued her interest, but she was sure she had no use for it. Somehow it had attracted the ghost of man who had created it, and he had seemingly decided to stick around.
He did not approve of the fact she embraced both sides of the Force, and often chided her for doing so, just like he was now. The former Sith looked up from the book she was reading - specifically about the former Sith empire from the days of the Old Republic and some of the ways they used the Force - and she couldn't help but smirk slightly.
"It isn't about right or wrong. It's about allowing yourself emotions while staying in control. And besides, this is just history, Tarre. I've already lived through being a Sith, I don't feel any need to return to it now."
Starter Call
Qira had left before the Empire fell, to become her own Sith, to not be under her father's shadow for the rest of her life. When it did fall, she could only smirk in response. She had been right to see it as weak, that they had strayed from the true Sith ways. It only fueled her to continue finding artefacts of Sith origin, to learn as much as she could.
One of the things she learned was how to halt her aging, to give herself more life. It came at what most would see as a caveat. She would have to take the life from others, draining and killing them, in order to keep herself youthful. To her, it was a necessary sacrifice, but she had gotten sloppy as of recent. A string of deaths followed in her wake, and they showed a pattern. Said pattern was enough for @wraekage to hunt her down, unbeknownst to her.
Currently, Qira was sitting at a local bar, looking for her next target. The drunk were always the easiest to persuade. She used her own Force to suppress her otherwise immense power, allowing her to also shift her eyes to their original blue so they weren't so obvious. It took a good amount of her focus to keep it up, so when she wasn't looking at the patrons walking in, she was staring down into her half consumed cup of hard liquor, letting it ground her and keep herself from letting it all go into the open.
She was an open target for the incoming bounty hunter.
Starter Call
The last place Qira thought she'd be was in an office building. She had been brought here by one of her advisors, who knew as she continued her training to one day take over her father's place, she would need to have connections to people in high places. The man led the young Sith to a fairly large office within the building itself, knocking gently before entering inside once he was told he was allowed to enter. He gave a gentle bow to @prvtocol sitting inside, and motioned for Qira to enter.
The girl's presence was much like her father's, strong and powerful, though less refined as she was still learning. However she seemed to hold an air about her that felt far more noble and contained than Vader. She had been taught well by her mother.
"Ms. Guyot, I have the pleasure to introduce you to Lord Vader's daughter, Qira. We figured if she is to one day take over her father's place, she might as well meet some of the important figures that help fund the Empire."
Qira did not speak yet, instead she watched the banker with quiet interest, observing her, as if to try and glean just what all the woman was about by just looks alone.
"05. pacing the room with heavy steps." from the prompt list!

Non-Verbal Actions
Qira watched the prisoner as she angrily paced the length of her cell within the ship known as Supremacy, the base of the First Order. While she was not yet in leadership of the entire faction, she was quickly rising through the ranks because of who she was. The third child of Lord Vader, the only true successor to the fallen Empire, and a woman of immense power.
Still, there were things she chose to do that many others wouldn't, such as learning about the other officers and crew, taking turns on shifts most disliked, and that just so happened to be what she was doing now. Instead of one of the grunts keeping guard, there stood the Sith, though Cerelle could see she was not yet fully turned. Her red ringed yellow eyes still had a blue center, almost as if to say part of her still did not want this life, that she did not want to be the heir. But, she had chosen this path, and it was nearing her full turn to the Dark Side as progress continued.
She did not speak for now, only watching, observing, as if to try and figure the other woman out.
Simply put, it was quite unnerving.
qira sounds so cool like hello?? i love her already!
-- @ladystarkillers
Tysm! I always quietly worry people will judge because she's a fanmade kid of Anakin/Vader, in reality I love her to pieces and try to make her interesting enough so she's not just about being tied to the Skywalkers alone!

❛ fear is not the enemy, but rather the catalyst for growth and bravery. ❜ - from @slayerofhutts (Hello btw)

Qira's eyes found their way to her older half-sister, who had seemingly sought her out on her own regard, even with the death of their father. She had sequestered herself into hiding, her time with the Empire finished, but her valuable training in politics meant she could eventually help a re-emergence of the Sith.
"I agree that fear is not the enemy, but it is not a catalyst for bravery. It is what fuels me, makes me stronger, and ready to face any who oppose me."
Despite Leia being an enemy, Qira left her lightsabers where they were, hanging from her belt, to show she was not interested in fighting at this moment. It just wasn't worth it when the other had genuinely searched her out to interact. She could be cruel, but she still had a conscience. Perhaps that was why only one of her kyber crystals was bled, and why her eyes still had blue in them, despite the red and yellow rings beneath it.
"I doubt you're here just to patronize me, however. So tell me, sister, why you're really here."
Would anyone be interested in watching me play some Assassin's Creed Valhalla?

Since the fall of the Final Order and the crushing loss of Ben, Rey hoped to walk a path that led her to inner peace, but the memory of war and death seemed to haunt her soul. Somewhere in the dark reaches of the galaxy, Rey sensed a lone survivor of the past, their aura shrouded in mystery. If the presence was of the dark side of the Force, as the last Jedi, it was her duty to confront them. Maybe then she would find the peace she desperately sought.
She left the Falcon behind, safe with her friends, choosing to pilot a ship that wasn’t easily identified. Her mission brought her to a planet far out in the unknown regions, where storms raged in the twilight sky, where the days were short and the nights dragged on. Rey ventured out in search of her unknown target, the cold rain lashing at her skin, despite the thick poncho she wore over her robes, for a measure of warmth. She walked endlessly, the passage of time unimportant, until at last, she felt, rather than saw, a cloaked figure.
Instantly drawing her lightsaber, Rey ignited the weapon, aiming it toward the shadows. “There’s no point in hiding,” the Jedi's voice was steady, unafraid. "I can feel the darkness. It’s how I found you."
For so long, Qira had been able to hide herself behind the far more thunderous presence that was Palpatine, as well as behind the traitorous Knights of Ren and Ben Solo. But now that all were removed, she stood alone, her power unable to be masked anymore. After years of wandering, killing to extend her own life force, finding Sith artefacts...she had become the threat.
Having felt the departure of her half-siblings, it left one lone Jedi to search her out. Instead of running, she allowed the other to come find her. After all, she had been building her power for some time now, to prove to herself she was more than just Vader's daughter. Why wouldn't she allow the battle to happen?
As the presence of light drew near, she took one moment to take a deep breath, letting her hatred and rage fill her properly, letting it seep into her very being. Unlike Ben, her own rage was controlled, not volatile, but rather tempered, as if she had been waiting for this very moment.
She did not respond when the other spoke, instead letting her two crimson sabers light, revealing a young face, a face that did not fit the power held within. A face that should have been 30 years older than she was. A face that held the yellow and red eyes of a true Sith.
A familiar feeling surrounded the Jedi before her, one of the former Emperor, a relative she had been unaware of. The sense of her siblings also resided with that, supporting the younger woman. This was no surprise, they never did support their father, after all. It made sense that they would support the one girl who rejected her dark lineage.
After taking in as much information as she could about the other, she pulled her hood down to allow the other to see her fair features properly. The Jedi would have been able to sense the Skywalker bloodline within her in the time she had just stood there, preparing herself to speak. Qira knew she was more than just her father's daughter, and she would prove it. Finally, she opened her mouth to reply.
"I'm no longer hiding, Jedi. I would have left this planet long ago if I was hiding from you."
luke looks down at misha. they're only three. but they fold their little arms. two sets of eyes darkening. they can feel it. a powerful presence approaching them with a speed they could not have predicted. luke makes an attempt to convince them to stay instead. but they refuse and he while usually greets their stubbornness head on with the incredible paitence of a jedi he does not really have time to deal with it tonight.
misha follows behind luke. eyes forward but very grumpy. luke recognizes qira's force signature the closer he gets to her. he's only seen her once before. they have never gotten to speak before. but he knows exactly who she is. she gives him a familiar expression of absolute baffled disbelief that is familiar. luke has seen it on ben and leia's faces more often than expected. " hello sister. "
if he could help it, luke would rather not be an enemy of qira. he knows that in her eyes he's the interloper who allowed their father to die. but that does not change the fact he's still would rather greet her with peace than violence. " misha come say hello to your aunt. don't be shy. "
misha sort of wiggles around his leg. to get a better look at qira's face. it's easy to see the similarties in her face with their father. their eyes grow wide as they turn from luke to qira and back to luke. " wait i can have two aunties? "
Her confusion only furthered as Misha and Luke interacted like father and child, despite Qira not sensing anything resembling the Skywalker bloodline within the child. He must have found them as a baby and taken them into his fold, then. There was no other rational explanation, and honestly, it felt like something Luke would do.
"I am not here for a friendly conversation. And I certainly am not here to be an aunt."
Her disgust returned as the child displayed the same sense of hope and love that Luke did. Of course they were already taking after him. They seemed quite stubborn as well, much like herself and Luke, a trait they gained from their father.
"I was here to even the score between us...however I've changed my mind and now want the child."
Hey guys, I'm going to be a bit sporadic for the next few days as I'm trying to update my resume so I can get back on the job market! I'll still try to make sure to reply when I can.
On a secondary note I've been playing too much SWTOR which is why I haven't been super active. Whoops.

While the First Order was quite similar to the Empire, there was one thing that Qira determined was different. The Knights of Ren. While the Empire had Emperor Palpatine and her father, Darth Vader, there had not been any other Force users, most having been killed off by Order 66, others picked off by the Empire. In a way, it was nice to finally be able to have others to train with, people who weren't too busy running an entire operation for the Empire.
One of the knights, @fcalty, had taken a deep interest in her, as her precursor was one of the more notable and powerful Sith Lords of his time. So, she opted to train with him, let him see some of the true and proper ways of the Sith.
While she would have normally opted for training sabers, as to not injure herself or the other, she also felt rusty with her own sabers, so instead she chose to use them. As she stared down the other, she let the first saber activate - a blood red in color. It had been properly bled, without any damage being sustained. The other weapon followed suit, a dark orange in color. She had opted not to bleed it until she found her place in this regime, but the kyber crystal already seemed to indicate she was more than ready to do so with the fact it was almost red.
"Let me remind you, this is a skirmish. No injuries should occur."

With the fall of the Empire, Qira had to hide herself away, quietly plotting an eventual return if any group aligned with her rose up in power. For now, however, she did know her older twin half siblings were out there...and she wanted to find them. Especially @operattic. He had forsaken his place by their father's side, then allowed him to die, and in a way, Qira hated him for that. He was the reason the Empire fell.
So, as she waited, she did her research, probing out feelers to find out where he had ended up, and soon she found him, starting a Jedi Academy. The very thought disgusted her, knowing they had won. Still, it meant he was easy to find. And find him she did. The one thing she didn't expect was the strange small child that accompanied him already.
Qira made no effort to hide her thunderous presence, watching as Luke came out to see just who had decided to darken his doorstep. There she stood, glaring at him...then she saw the child. Her expression turned to one of bewilderment. No intel had suggested he had a kid here...and that changed her entire intention. Unlike her father had so long ago, she was not about killing Force Sensitive children, especially not when they could help repopulate the Sith.
"I came looking for you, Luke. I just didn't expect this...child."
