Welcome to CAMP SOVERN LOVERIDGE !!

So we’re finally ready to get started!! I couldn’t be more excited as an admin and hope you all enjoy your time here! Make sure you’ve read all the info on the master post, interact with everyone and please, PLEASE be active and if you need to leave verse please just let me know rather than people waiting for you! I will try  to do a big group event at least once a week, but it might not always happen! However, there will be one this week so keep your eyes peeled for that post.

The Cabins : Roommates

Each cabin is numbered so that you can find it, your luggage will already be moved in for the week. There is a possibility for co-ed rooming assignments. If for some reason you have a problem with co-ed, your rooming situation can be changed. If you don’t have roommate then just pretend they are nameless for now. If someone new joins you will get one then.

Name: Tommy Jenkins Age: 18 FC: Nat Zang Ships: Chemistry Counselor or Camper?: Camper College: Columbia Major: Astronomy Short Bio: The fact Tommy was accepted into college was a surprise enough. The fact is was Columbia was truly a shock and miracle. His father always had a paranoia regarding the end of the world. He grew up in the middle of nowhere (literally, in a cabin hidden in the woods) raised as a survivalist. He learned a lot by the time he was ten most kids didn’t: fishing, hunting, skinning and butchering his own animals, how to survive off the land with minimal assistance.

His real only connection to the outside were their occasional trips to the nearest small town for necessities they couldn’t make themselves. Up until he was eight, his mother homeschooled him. But after she died, his dad would take him to town every Saturday to use the computer at the library to do school work, and take books home for him to read. It was that way he got his GED and applied for colleges.

He’s still mostly sure the university made a mistake when they accepted him on scholarship.

Tommy tends to keep to himself, never having had much socializing experience. He’s nervous about the camp, about being around so many people he doesn’t know, but he figured that was the best way to start getting used to it knowing he’d be moving onto campus in August and being surrounded by even more people.

Short Bio: 

izzy’s world fell apart piece by piece when she was young. first, her mother died in a wreck on icy roads when she was little and then her big brother cam left her to join the army only to be killed in action and her angry father became an abusive father. he took any opportunity to belittle, demean and abuse her, the worst of it all being when he would lock her in the freezer in the basement for hours at a time. 

the abuse only ended when her father was killed during a hunting accident and izzy expected to go into the system to be sent to another abusive home but, then she was taken in by the last remaining hales ; derek, his sister laura and their uncle peter and after a admittedly long transitional period she became part of their family. her life turned around after that, she even received a scholarship into Columbia 

however, hesitant izzy was to attend a camp with a bunch of strangers, clinging to her camera and hiding behind her lens more often than not at first, it had turned out to be one of the best experiences she had ever had and she happily accepted the position as a counselor this summer. her life was so much different than it was only a few years ago and she was not going to start taking that for granted any time soon.

 Camp Sovern Loveridge Group Verse!

A multi-fandom group verse set in a summer camp setting for incoming college freshman.

This is a summer camp that is put on every summer by NYU and Columbia. This camp is named after two of the presidents that started the summer camp. It was designed for incoming freshman to get to know their class and bond together. Their hopes were for it to get students to get to interact more and feel more comfortable in their new environment. 

Each year the camp grows a little better as they really listen to the student feedback on how to make it more enjoyable. They have camp like activities for everyone, like sports, crafts, hiking, and more! However, you are only required to attend the main sessions and team building activities. After that your time is yours.  

They have recent alumni and upperclassmen as the camp counselors who help make your experience more enjoyable and to make sure things don’t get too out of hand. However, these are all warm- blooded young adults so there is always something interesting going. Each year the camp brings people together, tears apart, helps people figure out who they are and so much more. There is never a dull moment once you step off that bus to spend eight weeks with your future class. 

But don’t just take our word for it, you’ve been invited! Come and experience the world for yourself.

This group verse is based on two Universities in New York and is hosted by them, however, the camp site is in Philidelphia. 

Your character either must be an incoming freshman to NYU/ Columbia or a camp counselor. (Alumni returning to be a counselor should not be any older than 30) 

As stated before the only mandatory thing is the stuff the school assigns them, but they don’t have to follow the other camp activities. 

Once the verse is open I will post more pictures of the campground and roommate assignments. 

There should be more campers than counselors, but if they are balanced that is fine too.

If you see your character/FC but don’t mind playing a twin/triplet of the character then please send in your application anyway, stating that and I will ask the other muses if they are okay with that. 

Gender Bent versions of muses are also okay if you don’t want to play a twin. Just please pick a different last name.

If you want to play a gender bent version of your muse in general, this is also welcome.

However, triplets are as far as the duplicates will go because then that starts to get excessive. 

If you end up joining after the verse starts then please just have your character act like they’ve been there the whole time, please and thank you. 

The rules ;;

We don’t start until we get a good amount of characters (10+).

BE ACTIVE!!!!  You don’t need to be on 24/7 but because it’s only over a summer you want to interact as much as possible because I’m sure things will move fast!

We will probably be doing some group type events on skype! So, you should probably have a skype, however, it isn’t a requirement to join.  I will post any skype group events so everyone can read them. 

If people are against skype events we can try to use Chatzy or something else. I just know people who have to be mobile can use Skype and it makes it easier for them. 

NOT ALL EVENTS WILL BE ON SKYPE THOUGH. It’s just easier if someone wants to do a bonfire or something to start a quick skype group/chatzy rather than organizing a whole dash event.

If you are joining from a fandom where your muse is a minor then please use an FC that is their young adult equivalent.

ALL Fandoms, OC’s and Multi-Muse blogs are welcome!. You just have to be an incoming freshman or camp counselor!

No supernatural stuff, everyone is a human!

You can have more than one character in this verse. If you aren’t active on all of them, though, your spots will open. (I personally will be having a lot of my muses in it bc I’m trash, so feel free to do the same as long as you can be active!)

NSFW will probably be present so it would help if you were 18+. However, if you aren’t 18+ please do not do any smut as it is illegal.

No OOC drama, but IC? BRING ALL THE IC DRAMA YO.

Don’t get angry about ships! Please be open to any and all ships, if you are even interested in a ship!
