He gazed at her deliberately,              his eyes gleaming as vividly                                      as the dancing streaks of  HELLFIRE.             Seemed like a single glance of those             burning garnet hues could force             the whole icebergs to thaw.

                     Cunning smirk played on his pale lips.

   ❝ ━━  An interesting remark.                              But life without a risk has no value to me. ❞                 He replied suavely, actually enjoying the place.

Not for a second did she tear her gaze away from him. The male was a bit too confident for her taste. She considered his words as a form of talking back to her, an authority figure.

The queen took a moment to study his appearance. His eyes? She had never seen anything like them before and it got her worried. The stranger did certainly clash with the surroundings. His charcoal hair and dark attire made him seem somewhat otherworldly

The silence following his sentence was maddening. Only her heeled shoes could be heard on the hard and frozen ground as she took a few steps towards him.

❝My, my, what a reply that was. Careful you might just get what you’re asking for.❞

Gared frowned lightly, then looked down to the necklace, which his hand was hovering above– he moved it away, then sighed, somewhat disappointed at the idea of not being able to investigate the glowing object further. “Ice? Why would a necklace hold such powers?”

Quickly she snacked up the necklace, it had no effect of her because of her abilities. Questions came to her mind. How did she misplace it? As she put it around her neck the glowing faded away.  ❝It has been in my family for so long, that no one can remember who owned and forged it in the first place. Aside from having the power itself, it is used to enhance the powers of the one wearing it.❞.

She brought a hand up to touch the necklace once more, as if to make sure it was still there. ❝Of course my house is notorious because of those powers, but it’s not like any of us care ❞
