IRL сat Humphrey (wiki) started working at 10 Downing Street during Margaret Thatcher’s premiership and was named after Sir Humphrey = the character from Thatcher’s favourite series "Yes, Prime Minister". There are no cats in the yv-series, which is a shame xD

My drawing is partly inspired by this long WiP fic (An Unexpected Development), in which cat Humprey makes appearence in several chapters ‪.
