How do you feel about Charming?
“Too cliche to say charming?” A hearty laugh escapes her lips, eyes drifting elsewhere for the moment before they’re falling back to their question. “It’s..cozy, I suppose. What else is there to love when you’ve only seen one town your whole life, y'know?” Thoughts pace back and forth before a smile fits perfectly on cherry stained lips. “But it’s home, despite everything.”
How do you feel about the Devil’s Disciples and the Wicked Wolves?
“God this whole thing is such a waste of time, don’t you think? Look,” she pauses a moment to readjust and look them good in the eye. “Trying to take on an entire group that’s monopolized and has been running the game–it’s so stupid. We run this town with all of its bells and whistles and what did they do before that? Run it into the goddamn ground.” There’s a strand of hair she’s quick to blow from her eyes before she’s speaking again. “Where the hell were they when I needed a home huh? Nowhere. So you’ll excuse me when I say we have things better off than the Devil’s Disciples–also what kind of cracked out name is that?” Her chuckle is hostile.
What’s the most important thing to you?
“Family.” Her answer is simple, because it’s all she’s ever known. “I was sixteen when the Wolves took me in..fucking sixteen. No one in their right mind would’ve taken someone like me in and they did it without any doubt. They may not have been blood but they’re the only people i’ll ever call my family, and fuck the rest. Someone coming along to see all the good and promise in you and loving you despite where you come from..that’s family.” She smiles, stifling a laugh. “The funny thing about family is that they’re not too keen on their ‘little sis’ being a stripper, but oh so funny.”
What are you most scared of?
“Sitting through the rest of this interview, God could you have picked anymore cliche questions?” Again, that hearty laugh returns with a shake of her head. “But sure, i’ll bite.” One slender leg crosses over the other with distinction before answering. “If I had to choose..I think losing what I have right now. Losing my brother..any of my family with the Wolves. You don’t just come back from that, you can’t.”
Do you have any plans for your future?
“I used to but..I mean this is what I do now, my livelihood, you know?” Sky hues are in search of something elsewhere at the moment, silence between the two. “I mean i’m only really working at the Maidens to get some space from working with my brother at Rendezvous, if you see someone all the time you might wanna kill ‘em.” She smiles an easy smile before looking back. “So for now I’m there but..beyond that, your guess is as good as mine.”
If you could have a million dollars right now, what would you do with it?
“I..might just actually see somethin’ else in the world for once. This would always be my home but I can’t help but wanna travel too and see how the world spits me back out.” There’s almost a childlike voice as she speaks, like she’s thought about this once upon a time and had to quickly bury those thoughts. “Greece..I’d go to Greece.” She simplifies her answer, exhaling slowly before her lashes cast downward. “Take what you can..give nothing back.”
