Episode 62... I don't remember... Again
Hilary of Poitiers 🕊️
Bishop, Doctor of the Church, and fearless defender of the faith. Known as the “Hammer of the Arians” and the “Athanasius of the West”, he stood firm for truth when it wasn’t easy. Fittingly, his name comes from the Latin for happy or cheerful — a reminder that joy and courage can go hand in hand.
Saint John Cantius 🇵🇱✨
A Polish Catholic priest, scholastic philosopher, physicist, and theologian who beautifully united faith, reason, and humility in his pursuit of truth.
✨ Saint Lucy (Santa Lucia) ✨
Today we honour Lucia of Syracuse — a courageous young woman whose unwavering faith made her a shining light in the darkness. Martyred during the Diocletianic Persecution, she remains a powerful symbol of purity, courage, and hope.
Venerated across Catholic, Anglican, Lutheran, Eastern Orthodox, and Oriental Orthodox traditions, Saint Lucy continues to inspire millions with her steadfast devotion to Christ. 🙏✨
Our Lady of Guadalupe — the Virgin Mary’s miraculous appearance to St. Juan Diego in 1531 — remains one of the strongest symbols of faith, hope, and unity. 🌹✨
Mary appeared on Tepeyac Hill, asking for a church to be built so she could show her love and compassion. When the bishop doubted, she gave Juan Diego a sign: Castilian roses blooming in winter, gathered in his tilma. When he opened it, the roses fell—and her miraculous image appeared. 🌟
Her icon shows her as a native princess, wrapped in stars, standing on the moon, surrounded by heavenly light. A mother to all peoples, she speaks the timeless message: “Do not be afraid. Am I not here, I who am your mother?” 💙
Her tilma still hangs in the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City, drawing millions of pilgrims each year. Her feast is celebrated on December 12th. 🙏🇲🇽
Honouring Pope Damasus I — the shepherd who guided the Church with wisdom and courage. 🕊️
As Bishop of Rome (366–384), he led the Council of Rome in 382, helping to confirm the canon of Sacred Scripture we treasure today. 📜✨
A legacy of faith that still shapes us centuries later.
✨ Our Lady of Loreto — Feast Day: December 10 ✨
Today we honour Our Lady of Loreto, the Blessed Virgin Mary associated with the miraculous Holy House of Nazareth — believed to be her childhood home and the place of the Annunciation. Miraculously transported to Loreto, Italy in the 13th century, it remains a powerful pilgrimage site and the home of the beloved “Black Madonna.”
She is also the patroness of aviators, watching over all who take to the skies. ✈️💙
Our Lady of Loreto, pray for us! 🙏✨
🌹 Saint Juan Diego (Cuauhtlatoatzin) 🌹
A humble and poor Nahua peasant from Mexico, Saint Juan Diego became a powerful Catholic visionary. In 1531, he witnessed the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary as Our Lady of Guadalupe, who left her miraculous image on his tilma.
Through his faith and obedience, countless hearts in the Americas were drawn to Christ. In 2002, he became the first Indigenous saint of the Americas — a radiant witness of humility, courage, and devotion.
Saint Juan Diego, pray for us! 🙏✨
💙 The Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary 💙
Today we celebrate the moment when Mary herself was conceived without original sin — a pure gift of God’s grace, preparing her to become the mother of Jesus.
From her very beginning, God set her apart, filling her with grace so she could carry His Son into the world.
Her life reminds us that God’s plans are always rooted in love, and that holiness begins with saying “yes” to Him.
O Blessed Virgin Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. ✨
✨ Happy Feast of Saint Nicholas! ✨
Today we remember the saint whose hidden generosity, courageous faith, and deep compassion inspired the legend of Santa Claus. 🎅💛
Saint Nicholas teaches us that real giving is done quietly, humbly, and from the heart — especially to those who need it most. May his example inspire us to love more, give more, and bring Christ’s joy into every corner of our world. 🙏🎁
May Saint Nicholas pray for us as we prepare our hearts for Christmas. ❤️✨
Honouring Saint John Damascene — defender of the faith, lover of truth, and a voice of clarity in times of confusion.
May his courage to uphold the teachings of the Church inspire us to stand firm in our own faith today. 🙏✨
Kicking off the liturgical year with the fiery faith of Saint Francis Xavier 🔥✨
A missionary heart, a fearless spirit, and a reminder to carry the Gospel with courage wherever we go.
Saint Francis Xavier, pray for us! 🙏🕊️
Saint Cecilia was a Roman virgin martyr from the 3rd century, venerated as the patron saint of music. According to tradition, she vowed her virginity to God, was married against her will to a pagan nobleman named Valerian, and converted him to Christianity. She is celebrated for her piety, her martyrdom, and for reportedly hearing heavenly music on her wedding day, which led to her patronage.
✨ The Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary ✨
Today we remember Mary’s quiet offering of her whole life to God — a moment of purity, trust, and complete surrender.
Her “yes” began long before the Annunciation; it started with a heart already prepared to belong entirely to the Lord.
May her example inspire us to offer our own lives with humility, faith, and love. 💙
Holy Mary, presented to God with grace beyond measure, pray for us. 🙏✨
Today we celebrate the Dedication of the Basilicas of Saints Peter and Paul — two pillars of our faith, united in mission and sacrifice.
Peter, the rock.
Paul, the missionary.
Both gave everything so the Gospel could reach the world.
May their courage strengthen us, and their example guide us closer to Christ. ✨
Saint Elizabeth of Hungary is often shown holding bread because her whole life was a masterpiece of charity. 🌸
She would secretly bring food from the castle to care for the poor, the sick, and the hungry — and when she was questioned, the bread in her cloak miraculously turned into roses. 🌹
Her hands full of food remind us of a heart full of compassion, humility, and service. A saint who loved not just in words, but in action. 🤍
Saint Albert the Great — Doctor of the Church and patron saint of scientists, philosophers, and all who search for truth. Born in the 1200s, he became one of the greatest minds of his time, mastering theology, philosophy, astronomy, botany, and the natural sciences. As the teacher of Saint Thomas Aquinas, he helped unite faith and reason, showing that studying creation leads us closer to the Creator. A powerful reminder that wisdom grows where humility and curiosity meet.
