I find it funny using a picture of rain to depict depression because I love the rain, but the empty bench is a mood. I have been fighting depression, anxiety and some form of ADHD my whole life, and while I have made huge progress it still holds me back. From lack of motivation, to bad spending habits, to just not making good decisions. Finding a balance in life has been very hard for me. Medications provide some help, as do other mindfulness techniques, but nothing is a cure all. I think the hardest part is the feeling that I have let people down. From my YouTube channel, to Twitch, jobs and relationships, my mental health issues have had a negative impact and the worst part is the feeling of failure. I write this post in te hopes that others in the same boat will feel some solace that they aren’t alone in the struggle.
