I think back on the DDADDS situation, and it looks like this game only brought drama and suffering to people. Nothing positive came from it, that includes the ohnips situation too. Dealing with GG's fandom sucks. I hope they make a different game next time but not looking forward to it tbh.

At least the messages aren’t entirely hostile unlike those wonderful ones that I got when this blog was new.
I’m thinking of concluding this blog soon anyway. I’m getting bored with it, the messages are redundant, and Ohnips really shouldn’t have had this much attention anyway. She’s just one of many who talk and think like her, the only difference is that she somehow got popular.
Either way, I’ll just turn off my inbox and leave it at that. I still immensely disapprove of receipts blogs and how stalkery they are so I’m keeping the url until Ohnips and her drama gets forgotten. Those people need to get a hobby.

If you actually looked at my blog, you would know that I acknowledge the things that she has said. I even ask to be shown evidence of what she has said so that I can judge her fairly on whether I defend her on that aspect or not.

You know that people call other people “they” when they don’t know what gender they are yet, right? I know she’s a girl now and I wasn’t calling her nonbinary.
I'm not going to call genderbending art transphobic in any way; it's not, and that fanart is beautiful. But I think also part of the problem people have with that fanart is that, even if Dahlia is mtf, she still has the body of a woman. It looks like a very biologically female design. Damian's looks like it could be biologically male or female, but Dahlia's body is so curvy, so booby, and so tight that she looks very cis-female. That's how I see it anyways.
Damien is designed with the most traditionally male body I have ever seen in my life. His face, his wide ass shoulders, his narrow hips, there is nothing gender ambiguous about Damien’s design in the slightest. Nothing.
Have you ever seen a trans woman? Have you ever seen an actual, transitioned trans woman?
I know that you’re not trying to be antagonistic or whatever, but you’re so wrong here. Trans women have the most female looking bodies in the world because they work their asses off to get there because that’s who they want to be. They work like hell and pay shitloads of money to accomplish that look because that’s literally the look they’re going for.
There is no universe that exists where you can unanimously determine whether or not a person is trans just by looking at them. If you want to draw a trans man - draw a man. If you want to draw a trans woman - draw a woman. That’s what these individuals look like, that’s how you design them. You cannot claim that the character doesn’t “look trans” without getting really uncomfortably close to being transphobic.

Thanks for this blog. ohnips never did racist or transphobic Dream Daddy artwork. I don't and never support her saying the n word, but her art is fine. Tumblr would drink the kool- aid.

Wouldn’t have been more offensive to draw Damien as a male while all the other guys were drawn female for the gender bent artwork that ohnips did? Considering that he is a guy, its only right and fair that in a genderbent with the rest of the guys as a female. He’s treated as a man like the rest. Its not transphobic in my books. I actually think it was handled well in the art piece.
Absolutely. I’m really not sure what the logic is behind calling someone transphobic over it. Like, if it’s an AU, then certain things (like how Damien is transgender) would stay the same, wouldn’t it?
I suppose it boils down to how people always assume the worst and actually WANT to be angry.
What is ok: Explaining why an art offends you, asking for tag warnings, educating on issues with the art, avoiding the art etc
What is not ok: Using the fact you're offended as a reason to try and make them delete or not draw the thing that offends you
What is just fucked up: Sending the artist death threats, doxxing them, spamming them or bullying them to try to submit to your personal tastes
I understand why you made this blog now. There all of people going after ohnips rabidly that should dial it back. But in the inverse you still have fans still saying she did absolutely nothing wrong even with the evidence of her actions. I understand defeating a creator you like but it seems to me that they are more interested in keeping the art than the artist if that makes sense. As some from the outside looking in I was hoping that you ,someone I assume is a fan, could explain this to me
Actually, you seem to have explained it perfectly yourself.
There will always be three types of people in these kinds of situations:
The people that treat that person like an irredeemable monster until they get bored or the person leaves social media.
The people that understand that the person isn’t truly a bad person but also understand that that person responded terribly.
The naysayers that believe the person did absolutely nothing wrong and shouldn’t have even been met with any kind of criticism.

I can see what Fucko_Bucko means there, but he’s thinking quite hypocritically. He says how the genderbend is ohnips’s idea of how a “man bent to be a woman” would look like, yet the original Damien from the game is how the creators of the game think that’s what a “woman bent to be a man” would look like.
Ohnips is only trying to be consistent with the original character and how well he passes. I’m not an expert at being trans, but I’m certain breasts start to grow and the body’s shape changes when regularly taking estrogen hormones after a while.
