Ever didn’t realize that he had been talking to himself at first, and had followed the request of looking at herself, her eyes trailing down over her outfit in confusion until she glanced back up and realized it hadn’t been her that the instruction was meant for. “Uh- I’m okay.” Ever didn’t spend a lot of time in front of the mirror besides her hair and makeup routine in the morning, and she didn’t really care to start, “You can keep the mirror. I don’t really need it.”
Vic couldn’t help but chuckle as he caught sight of the girl glancing down at her outfit as if he’d been speaking directly to her. “Sorry.” He replied almost apologetically. Finally breaking away from the hold of the mirror to look at the stranger who’d spoken to him. “Oh, I just meant if you wanted a look or whatever. I’m not actually gonna carry this thing all the way up to my apartment.” Even if it was just to the elevator and then down the hall, it wasn’t something Vic was interested in.
