People saying that pittsburgh is small is wild to me like I get that there's much bigger city's but the population of my town is 30k we dont even have traffic lights

typically it’s the canadian cities (the exception: toronto) that get dwarfed in population by the american ones, so the flip side of this was equally surprising! calling edmonton a big city when it is perhaps, at best, a medium city in comparison to (most) american cities threw me for a loop too lol

anybody in this lovely lb want to give me a quick run down on player nicknames? specifically the bottom six? what are we calling our guys?

ok i also havent been around as much as people in the lb (i just got on tumblr this year so . i was kind of just watching games by myself since the dewar trade lol ) so i am also open to corrections

3rd line -- this has moved around a lot but tonight it was iirc justin brazeau (braz), ben kindel (kindel, kindy, kid kindy (yeah sure why not), wonderkindel, benny and the vets when hes on the first), and anthony mantha (i call him anthony manthony idk if thats one everyone uses tho). when geno was their center it was the big boy line/mutant line. now they usually call braz and mantha the towers.

4th line -- this has been the same once lizotte and acciari both got back from injury. dewar (dewey, given his tenure on the minnesota wild with brandon duhaime, but also ppl call him dew), lizotte (lizzo) acciari (cookie). the origins of the nickname cookie if im not mistaken is... because he likes cookies . commentators have thrown around energizer bunny line, heartbeat line, landline, i call them the brave little toasters bc thats what i call dewey

eta: in time periods when lizotte or acciari have been out, we've had a couple of players from the ahl team com eup, notably bokondji (boko) imama. i just wanted u to know about him. i love boko
