Though the fact that Windsor accepted his sexuality was a calming one, Aspen remained fiery and indignant, nostrils flaring and hands curling into fists absentmindedly. “You do realise,” he snarled, his anger rising when he felt the beginnings of ice meeting his heat, “that Enmity is a population of bad people. All we want are bad things, and all we do are bad things. You learn to trust even those who can’t be trusted.” Aspen took a deep breath and cooled himself slightly, staring down at his brother with an eyebrow cocked. “This is what you’re becoming apart of.”
"Look me in the eye and tell me that the fact that he could charm you at any time and you'd never know doesn't terrify you and maybe I'll believe that." Windsor scoffed. The air around them is frosting over, and snowflakes are settling onto Windsor's skin. "Anyway, I'm sure there's more to Enmity than american greed. After all, you guys have all the money in the world." And he took in a deep breath, letting it out slowly and watching the stream of cloudy white come out of his mouth. "I'd still try to be a good person, even as a part of the bad man's club."
