june 25th, 2016. age: 21. current music recommendation: g-eazy (specifically the song, so much better) favorite trick: i just started skating a little over 3 months ago, my main focus at the moment is learning to drop in. i’d love to be able to board slide down an 8-10 stair later on. personal goal: i need to travel more and experience challenges i never thought i would. i’d like to get outdoors more as well, i really love camping and hiking, but always seem to be hindered in some way from going as much as i’d like to. i am definitely working on making a change to push to do those things more before the end of this year.

hey there, welcome to OKSkate. this is the very first post to this website and i wanted to explain some things. first of all this project has been in the works for a while and there are some people i would like to thank before i start. first of all, my husband corey. an excellent skater/expert encourager. second, my bff cory. be on the look out for this guy in future xgames, he’s incredible and helped push this project along. thirdly, brian and brittani. thank you for the talk we had before yall moved, you helped spark the fire in me. also, thanks to you for checking this out.

alright here’s the deal. i am a photographer that lives in oklahoma who has always been fascinated by skateboarding. i figured i would put the two together and try and make something of it. i wanted to put together a simple website that is minimal and to the point. you probably wouldn’t think of oklahoma as a big skate state but there is quite a bit happenin here. there is a lot of talent here. there is a sense of community here. people here are interesting and deep. a normal blog post will consist of a skate photo and a lil interview that i have gotten from the skater. just something about them. sometimes people will go into detail about their lives and sometimes it’ll be short and sweet. we are all different but all love skateboarding. i will show you an example of the questions and answer them myself so you can get to know me a little better.

age:28. current music recommendation: ryan adams. favorite trick: one of the most mind blowing tricks i’ve seen was aaron homoki’s melon grab down 25 stairs. madness. personal goal: to keep pursuing photography. and to not bail on this project.
