i need to take a second and sit down and explain how weird the strict classes are in Deltarune when you think about it in JRPG tradition sense.
did you know Berdly's class has like. Four different names. It's 'Dragoon'. Except the Dragoon class is also sometimes called the Dragon Knight class, and was translated as
THE LANCER
Kris isn't stricty a warrior they're a Knight, kind of. But they're also just. The Fighter. which is. Actually deeply weird, but interesting since they have the Absolute No Magic type build which... isnt... what....
...Ok. Look. that's never The Hero. Not in Dragon Quest, not in like. Most games. You see why as soon as you think about it. It's kind of a boring option next to being able to do magic. Even the main guy in Dragon Quest 2 learns a couple of spells. You know who The Hero is?
The guy who can attack really well normally, and usually use attack spells, and usually has 1-2 really useful healing spells.
Unless you're in.
Earthbound. Or Mother 3. Where the hero is the one who's the best at healing usually.
TURNS AND POINTS AT RALSEI AND SUSIE. HEY. HEY. WHAT- HEY. RALSEI LEMME SEE YOUR STATS- I SEE YOU SCRIBBLING SOMETHING OUT, RALSEI.
i've been playing ancient jrpgs since i was a baby teen because emulators and roms download fast and worked on any computer and I feel like sometimes Deltarune is
is like
So god damn strange. The Dragoon/Dragon Knight/Lancer thing. Is so.
