Yeah but like…sometimes kids get mad when you do what’s best for them. It’s just how kids are. But it’s better than the potential alternative, correct? The alternative being Charlie getting physically hurt or worse… I mean, I’m sure you don’t want another kid’s blood on your hands because you weren’t strong enough to do the right thing, right?

You better be glad those monster hunters didn’t want to hurt Lethica. If something had happened and she’d been killed you two would never survive without her. So Im just curious…why exactly are you letting Charlie put themself in danger? You are an adult, Charlie is a kid. Even if you aren’t their parent you can still make them stay here for their own safety. Even if it makes Charlie mad at you isn’t that better than them getting hurt?

…there is a small but not impossible chance I think. At the very least they seem to have a ‘weak link’ who seems to have more of a heart than the rest of them. His name is Bugbeck, and he at least seems sympathetic towards the children. If you can convince him to give you a chance he may be able to get the others to hear you out.
