Think about this, Ava is literally the only LI in all the choices books that has gotten into a relationship in the middle of the story after introducing her as a LI but not giving us the option to choose her or have significant interactions. Rafael doesn't count because he was a LI in the first book that had romantic options and diamond scenes that worked in their relationship, meanwhile with Ava none of that has happened. That's pure erasure and blatant lesbophobia, it just feels like at this point they are laughing at wlw players.

I am PISSED after this last chapter of mtfl. Seriously? What the actual fuck. That is a new low PB, forcing Ava to kiss Bayla. There are so many people, including myself, who all they want to do is romance Ava and have had to suffer from this heterocentric plot with some weak ass bisexual comments here and there. I am mainly pissed for two reasons though. 

1. Forcing Ava into a relationship with another woman. It’s been 52 chapters and way over 52 days since this book began and all the people who want to romance Ava have been unable to. We’ve what? Gotten one diamond scene with her? A couple of options to flirt compared to a plethora of diamond scenes and just scenes in general with Mason and Noah. That’s some bullshit. And it’s so incredibly painful and frustrating for the people romancing Ava to FORCE Ava to kiss another woman when we’ve been FORCED to kiss Mason and Noah despite not wanting to. 

2. The “exploring sexuality” plot they said at the very beginning they were going to do and their attempts to make the MC bisexual are weak. As an ACTUAL bi person, this feels like a slap in the face to me. They’ve barely explored her feelings for Ava except a couple comments here and there but the MC hasn’t actually ever asked the question “who am I attracted to? Men? Women? Both? More?” But they don’t do that. They just discuss her feelings for Ava but not the larger picture. It’s obvious enough when you read the book that the MC is attracted to men, but they don’t go into detail about whether or not she is attracted to more than just men.

So..... what kind of bullshit was today's chapter of MTFL???? What was the point of even introducing the college tours thing if we didn't even get to go??

Like okay, if you want to make a full cishet book about a love triangle, then at least have the guts to say it out loud and own up to it. Don't add in a girl love interest at the last minute just to avoid backlash and appease rightfully angry queer players. If you had been upfront from the start, then at least wlw players could have chosen to ignore the book. It wouldn't have been ideal but at least it would have been honest.

OR you could have actually written a story that talked about a teenage girl discovering her sexuality. You could have had a love triangle woven into the story between MC, a girl, and a boy. You could have had the two boys and actually include Ava in the story early on and give her equal screentime.

Instead, you chose to sideline her at every turn while pushing both boys uncomfortably towards MC.

I was fine with a 10/15 chapters-long slow burn before MC's sexuality came into play. It made sense for her to have doubts and discover who she was slowly. But this is straight up disrespectful.

Noah and Mason have each had a forced kiss, and they're both very physical with MC in ways that are definitely inappropriate if you're not romancing them. We know a lot about their lives, their hopes, their fears,... Meanwhile, we're going on 50 chapters and we don't know anything about Ava, not even what she's interested in for the future, or if she has siblings, or what she does outside of school. We've had about two conversations with her, the only interaction that lasted more than 30 seconds was paywalled, and we were just forced to literally FORGET ABOUT HER to spend yet more time with one of the boys.

It's ridiculous, and I'm angry.

I can't wait to meet Ava's family, learn about her childhood, her interests besides cheerleading, see more of her relationship dynamic with MC, and eventually kiss her.

They're complaining that Ian is the only male LI in Queen B 😂 I cannae stop laughing! It's amazing how when the tables turn its okay to be complaining and saying that it's not fair!

I know! It’s so hilarious because some male romancers don't even like him so they are literally forced to romance him. Ah this is why I love Queen B, yes it has its issues but talking solely on LIs and flirty options it’s the best thing that has happened to me. Lesbians the bar is in hell but I'm so enjoying this.
