Just a genealogist and old newspaper enthusiast hoping to reconnect some families with their old photos. They'll be tagged with last names, full names (AS THEY ARE GIVEN), and state. If it's a woman identified only under her husband's name (EX. Mrs. John Smith) it will be tagged as such. Descriptions will HOPEFULLY have as much information as I can find, plus the place I found it (newspaper, antique store, yearbook, et cetera).

Dr. Matthew C O’Brien, esteemed doctor in Pittston, PA, from his obituary. Surviving were wife, former Clara Carter, children, Joseph and Pauline O’Brien, siblings, Mary McGrath, James O’Brien, Joseph O’Brien, (all of PA) and William E O’Brien (of New Haven, CT), and 6 grandchildren.

Lt. Marjorie Gertrude Bradel, daughter of Mr and Mrs John F Bradel of Kingston, PA. She was a nurse in Nassau Hospital, Long Island, before enlisting in the Army Nurse Corps. James J Jennings, of Wilkes-Barre, upon enlisting in the US army in Harrisburg. He served alongside his nephew, John Jennings, Jr.. James was very well known in the Wilkes-Barre-Harrisburg area, but was a native of West Nanticoke and attended Plymouth Township Schools as well as Georgetown University.
