the issue with growing up in the 2000s and 2010s was like there was this really big push toward "accepting your weirdness" overall but they meant like idk wearing mismatched socks or something not being tangibly beyond the norm in any way shape or form

I play rogue in DnD every chance I get. I've loved that class since I was a kid. In BG3, I've been collecting things. One of which are musical instruments. The other day while chatting with Withers I thought. What if. So I made Z (my Tav) into a bard. The first battle my party got into was so fun omg. I'm gonna have to research more into the classes because I have been practically ignoring all their capabilities.

If you're gonna do what I did and change class via Withers, make sure to take off all your weapons and instruments first. I almost lost some good stuff lol.

Our efforts to stop H.R. 7661 one have been hugely effective—so much so that Republicans threw together this NEW other bill to try to force their agenda through, once they realized how unpopular H.R. 7661 was. And then they voted on it as fast as they could.

SO WE HAVE A FIVE ALARM FIRE! 🔥

H.R. 2616, the so-called “Stopping Indoctrination and Protecting Kids Act”, has passed the House.

This bill proposed an amendment to the Elementary & Secondary Education Act of 1965 that would withhold funding from schools that “teach or advance gender ideology.” The bill defines gender ideology using one of the Executive Orders from 2025: “replac[ing] the biological category of sex with an ever-shifting concept of self-assessed gender identity.”

Falsely equating “ideology” with “identity”, this amendment would lead to the elimination of any books that mention gender or gender non-conforming people and experiences. This will have a detrimental effect on all students who have the right to access literature with diverse ideas and perspectives.

While the bill claims to be about “protecting kids,” we have seen this smoke screen before. As written, H.R. 2616 is an attempt to target and eliminate not only trans and nonbinary books, but any mention in any school of the very existence of gender non-conforming people. This would effectively erase trans people, including students, from a public space.

This new bill is now headed to the Senate. A vote could be scheduled at any time, which means we need all hands on deck, ready to fight. This isn’t over. We’ll have more information for you soon. Let’s get ready to show our senators exactly what we think of their latest attempt at a federal book can.
