So Long & Thanks For All The Homestuck

This is going to be the last post on this blog, probably forever, but maybe not forever! Who knows. Time is strange. The internet is stranger. I’m still around regardless.

If you’re seeing this post when it’s just been posted and haven’t seen the two weeks of notice underneath it, or are just stumbling upon this now, this blog is now inactive, but not deleted. This is because I a) want to keep this account up for @homestuckcosplayhelp and b) this blog was a huge part of my life, from the end of high school all the way through college to my move out of state, and I don’t quite wanna see it gone. At the end of the day though, it was time for a fresh start.

If you have been here for me like this blog has, for any little or large part, thank you. I grew up a lot here. I met some of my best friends on here. I bonded with so many people, and have so many memories, and participated in this crazy wonderful thing we call fandom, and it’s been a huge part of who I am. You have been a huge part of who I am. And for that, I am grateful to you.

I’m still on tumblr, still in fandom at the same old username, if you’d like to follow. If not, if this is where we part ways, that’s okay too.

Moving/Shutting Down

Soooooo this post has been a long time coming.

I’ve decided to abandon this blog for the foreseeable future. I’m going to take the layout down, disable everything, take pretty much all function off of it and leave it to be reclaimed by the moss and the vine.

I mainly do that because, at the end of the day, I don’t want the stuff on here gone, I just want it…not associated with me as heavily. I’ve decided to move what little cosplay I do any more to my public persona. I want to keep the fraxinus handle as my personal, somewhat anonymous fandom persona. A lot of the cosplay will get cross-posted so it won’t be anon per say, but I want to clean up house in a big way.

Also, homestuckcosplayhelp is still tied to this account so I want to make sure it stays up should something happen to the co-mods blog.

That being said, there’s something like 7k followers on this account and honestly with as few notes as I get, I’m pretty sure there are like maybe 100 of you that actually read or care about this blog being here. You're one of the first blogs I followed on here. I saw you at a con panel before I connected blog and troll (Kurloz - When i found out you had a female body but looked that great in costume, the jealousy was real bro). I got into Love Live because of you. I think I saw you at AUSA last year, but was too shy to say anything. You've been this weird constant in my internet world. I wish you the best and hope this wasn't super rude or weird.

Lots of good memories on this blog. Well for me at least

Same! Honestly, that’s why I’m not flat out deleting it and telling people where I’m going so they can continue to follow me if they want. It’s going to be a relief and a nice mental break to have a clean blog and not worry about someone pulling something stupid up from like 6 years ago, but like...these were my college years and when I moved to the city and a lot of my life happened on here. I can’t just toss that to the wind.
