risking UV exposure so I can try and get a better image of the girls - I'm slowly accepting I have the photographic eye of a limp lettuce. But at least I can now see the girls resin colours range from white to tan.

Chika's eyes are lovely, but I had a few spares that wanted to be used. Currently have the purple/pink in so she matches the Luts girls, but the brown suits her better. Tempted to give the blue away as they really are not to my taste, but know the moment I'll get a doll that needs vivid blue eyes so back in the pot they go.

And now Bea has a temporary outfit, so she can be a desk buddy too.

Is my camera a potato, am I just bad at this? We'll never know.

Trying to do computer based things before it gets too hot and everything overheats so the frapps and Odie are keeping me company.

One day I'll clean the frapps up, but that day is not today.

Had to replace the image, for my perfume betrayed me and my 'orrible self was being reflected back at me.

I don't realise how small my dolls are until seeing them on the desk. Or how much I hate naked "human" dolls. Only a few more days and they will have clothes.

I also forgot how much I dislike stringing kit dolls, and got one of the new mermaids (Catspian, since at the time I was too late for Lumi or Chomp), a Purrmaid (tiny, I am going to hate every minute of it) and a Snowdrop.

Spending money like I make money. Maybe a desk full of joy will give me job search luck xD

Three tiny Frapp dolls. I'm going to spend a while using them for stringing practice until I'm confident/give up and DM asking if they'll string them in exchange for cash because I can't face another second of dealing with teeny tiny elastic and teeny tiny channels. I love the Frappzilla dolls - they're tiny, cute and affordable. Every doll they release fills me with whimsy and joy. I hate putting them together. The thought of trying to get the tension "just right", of poking even tiny elastic through their channels, of sanding, of ... everything ... I hate it.

And finally Choux has arrived! She's a little more worse for wear than Chika, but no more than I expect for old, preloved dolls!

Fortunately for me, I think the Luts sculpts are definitely my preference over Volks (at least for these old sculpts!).

Choux has a temporary name of Odette (Odie), we'll see if she keeps it!

Just one more old doll we're waiting on, which I'm not expecting for a while- an old Honey Delf Madeleine.

There's a few mini Frapzilla dolls I need to photograph, but I'm in a big 1/6 mood right now.

Today I received a very special girl - a Volks Yo-SD Chika from 2010. I've been calling her Beatrix, but we can't really confirm her name until we've spent a bit of time with her. Currently she's chilling out in her box, waiting to try on some outfits and wigs until something feels right. She'll get her photo taken properly once that happens, but for now I'm just happy she's here! We're also saving up so that she can get a fresh face up in the near future; she doesn't look too bad for her age, but she'd look even prettier with a fresh face on.
