Maeve had never expected to have such mixed emotions about another town. She'd grew up in Mystic Falls for a while, and people coming here were bringing up all of her past feelings that she had somehow managed to bury. She blamed nobody but herself for everything she left behind she just felt it was best. But she never thought she'd have to deal with it again. With the last time she was in Mystic Falls spinning around in her head the brunette needed an out. She needed to be at one with the nature it was the only time she felt safe, she was drawn to it. She walked for a while before coming to a small bridge that moved over a stream. Sitting herself down she dangled her legs over the edge watching the water flow downward stream. Resting upon the frame of the bridge looking up at the sparkling stars in the night sky. Her thoughts were taken from her as she heard a noise behind her. ''Don't worry i'm not planning to go for a swim.'' she sighed. ''Sorry if i'm intruding your spot, I needed a place to think.''
After the party, Oliver had been on a somewhat downward spiral, considering every possible dilemma he may now face. He had triggered his werewolf curse, meaning in a matter of a few weeks, eh would experience his first full moon. To make matters worse, he had absconded the moment Juniper had found him, leaving friendships he held dear up to question. To make matters worse, he knew nothing about the so called 'heritage' that he had, not knowing how to prepare or protect those he cared about from him during the full moon. He felt his family had set him up for failure, protecting him from the knowledge which would inevitably protect him now. He had chosen to take a walk, providing clarity and insight to his mind as the cool air hit his skin. He needed some time to think, hoping he would come up with some ideas in response to the change of scenery. As he approached a nearby stream, he appreciated the peace, the sound of trickling water was enough to disguise the sound of another -- at least for a moment. As she spoke, he somewhat jumped, eyes darting to her defensively before softening when he realised who it was. It had been a long time, but not long enough for him to forget. "Maeve?"
