Ā We are on fire indeed!
HOW THE HELL COULD YOU KEEP SUCH A THING FROM ME? Blue hair? Seriously? I want to see photosĀ
I wanted to study Politics and Economics the first time I applied to the UK and then the second time around I was just fooling around thinking I was not going to end up here. Anyway, hope I will enjoy it. There was a nice website where you could look for Masters and they were telling you what scholarships are available for each course. Let me look for it. Here you go:Ā http://targetpostgrad.com/Ā Also some Universities have their own scholarships. Usually the big ones: LSE, Kingās, Oxbridge, UCL..
By the way could you give me a list of the books you used the most/ were most useful for your course?Ā
Seems like you have big plans for the summer. I cannot wait to see photos from wherever youāre going. I feel like I am surrounded by news of weddings this year. One of my best friends is getting married in October, one of my housematesā brother has his wedding in October as well...

Oh my god, are you kidding me??? A picture of us on the login page? :O It means someone else would have probably seen it too! So strange.
Oh my god vol. 2, you changed your course! I hope you like Politics and IR, I absolutely adore my course. I am so, so sad next year is my last. I feel like I need another at least, and I wish there was some way I could get a Masters without having to pay for it. Do you know of any US/UK scholarships for Masters courses?
Yeah, Iām going home on the 8th of June, and having a holiday in Lebanon (visitng a uni friend) 15-29th. The, on the 4th of July my brother is getting married - exciting times ahead :) if only I could stop feeling so dead.Ā
It dawned on me you probably havenāt seen my hair, which is blue now. Iāll post a picture ;)
Love,
O.
oh my gah there was a photo of us on the background when I wanted to log in
Anyway, I really like that you posted so soon <3.What happened to that pretty face? I didnāt go out either this year. Iāve been slightly lethargic, Iād say, from that point of view. I understand the academic thing. By the way, I changed my course :). I am starting first year, again, in September in International Relations and Politics. Hopefully, I can also change my University next year.Ā
Are you going home on the 8th of June?Ā
Love,
-A.Ā
I don't like writing long posts on my phone but my laptop is at my friend's house and I'm waiting for my flatmate to finish showering, so let's do this. Awww, that's incredibly cute you thought of me and then of Olithea as a baby name. I certainly think no one else would have it, that's pretty unique ;) whenever I think of baby names I come up with a problem of one that works both in English and in Polish but also isn't boring or has bad connotations. I'm coming up blank but on the other hand I don't want kids, so I guess that's a nonexistent problem. I want to adopt senior dogs from shelters, and for cute animals there is no shortage of even cuter names. I think we should definitely resume our writing here - I for one find it very cathartic. I'm stressing about exams because I've never handled them particularly well and because my entire self esteem is currently invested in my academic performance. I don't care about my peer's opinion of me etc., but every academic failure is crushing and hard to overcome. Just gotta study I guess, and hope for the best. I'm still working as a bar staff and I like it, but it's a constant struggle with social anxiety. I don't know how to interact with customers who go outside of my expectations of their behavior - trying to flirt, screaming at me or being unnecessarily rude are things I just don't know how to handle. Anytime after the 26th and before the 8th of June is great. I'm kinda mad at myself because I've done nothing this semester, haven't been out - not even to central - even once. Only on valentines day and to meet with you. Seems like time is running through my fingers and I'm not using it properly but on the other hand, I needed to save money pretty badly this year. Oh well. Kisses, O.
I have no ideaĀ
I do actually. So on Saturday, normal day at work, an ex-colleague shows up. She is a lovely Polish (hope I'm not mistaken) woman who got pregnant last year and went on maternity leave somewhere at the beginning of the year. Well, she shows up on Saturday with her baby and her husband. Great genes in the family and all. Anyway, when she tells me the babyās name is Oliwia it made me think of you, of course. Then somehow my mind fast-forwards to the question: what would I name my baby? And then Olithea pops to my mind. Bottom line: the whole thing made me browse our baby tumblr again and post. So how about you tell me how have you been? And also when would be a good day for you, to meet with Niky for a late-birthday-celebration-and-bftf-reunion-thinggie? ended up not going that night and have an intact bottle of Sangria, straight from Madrid, that is calling us.Ā

Well I promised to write something so here I am; amidst a crisis (well, nothing new here, I seem to be in a permanent state of crisis of some sort), trying to write an essay for a professor that intimidates the shit out of me. Iām academically in love with her and want to prove myself, like an eager puppy.Ā
I go to uni, work, to my friendsā house where I spend time until itās time to go to sleep, go back home, rinse, repeat. My flatmates make me so angry, all I want to do is move out and not have to ever see them again.Ā
Work is good, Iām enjoying it a lot and the people are great. Unfortunately, my supervisor asked for my number Friday night and now texted me. Why canāt men get it that at work I have to be nice to everyone? Iām happy and bubbly and fun-ish because thatās what you pay me for. Emotional labor. Please donāt expect me to be this way off hours.Ā
Incidentally, every time I have been for my number/fb (a total times of 4 in my 20 years of living!) I have not been acting like myself at all, haha. My family thinks Iām a lesbian and I donāt feel inclined to prove them wrong.Ā
Iām back to tedious academic writing I canāt decipher but desperately wish I could.Ā
Love,
O.
The grand reunion!!! In my kitchen
No words are needed :)
Third post.
Happy new year!
I am still waiting for you to...POST. I know you're busy with school.... but still...:)
So I am almost done with everything uni-app-related and therefore I decided to enjoy my break, my long, extremely-welcomed and longed-for break. Thus, first thing I did was to watch something and I got hooked on #SCANDAL, but I already told you that. Well, I can't get over it yet. I am trying to watch some other things, but they don't really deliver as well as Scandal did. Too bad.Ā
How are your exams? All good?Ā
Say "Hi" to Niky.

p.s.: I had some post-bftf blues these days. strange's coming back. Can't believe almost 2 years passed since then.I mean #WHEN???
Here, two posts in a row just to get you motivated.
I need a kickass commonapp essay and it seems like every experience i've had so far in life is worthfuckingless. Nothing seems to good to be read by an admission officer, especially since i am not part of a racial, sexual or religious Ā minority, nor do I have a handicap. #averagepeopleproblems again.
(im)patiently waiting for your post.
Muchos loveĀ
-A
Should we get back in business??
Let's do this!Ā
Christmas is here. Thank God! It;s supposedly my favorite holiday, mine and the majority's. #averagepeopleproblems. Anyway, the Christmas lights in Bucharest are finally lookable at. We had to endure about 5 years for this to happen though.Ā
You should be back in Poland by now, I think. So wanna do a bit of looking back on these past 3 months and answer the "How's London" question for the nth time?!
If things aren't going as I would like them to go this time around either, London shall be my destination for the year to come, which is something I'm not really excited about.Ā
Anyhow, too long of a post already.
Write to me dear.
Love

woo itās december
Sorry for the delay, the time has come to write a shitload of essays. Submitted my first one on Sunday, after 3 days of pure and utter panic. Roma read it; it was shit. Yet another thing to add to the list of things I suck at. I've got 3 more to write.Ā
Since we're in the EU we don't need permits, I never heard of them anyway. You just need proof of address (which is basically any mail addressed to you somewhere in the UK) to open an English bank account.Ā
My eating habits are even more fucked up than my sleeping habits, which is saying something. I've read that first years gain over 2 stone during first year, which I don't find surprising at all. Almost everything I eat is processed food, junk or fast food and sugar in different forms. I go to uni in the morning, and come back usually in the evening or after midnight, cause I sit in the library or visit friends. Obviously after I come back I'm too tired to cook so the vicious cycle continues.Ā
Niky's still madly in love. She even considered going to Belgium one weekend but feels like W wouldn't want her there.Ā
My mom sent me a GIANT package full of clothes, chocolate and nail polish, so I'm good :)Ā
Exciting news: i'M GOING TO SWEDEN FOR READING WEEK! This is literally the only thing that keeps me going. I'm visiting my aunt, which means girl talk, GOOD HOME COOKED FOOD, Swedish lanscape and the general tranqulity. Yesyesyesyesyesyesyes.
Kisses and hugs,
O.
You did write, oh, the joy!
Glad to hear London's not that bad. By the end of the first year you'll come to love it... ahaha.Ā A friend of mine said he loves it because it is just like in films and he pictures it as a bigger, better, more modern version of Bucharest.
I'm working here and there, teaching English and selling clothes. Just getting ready for the grown-up version of working. You said last time that it's a nuisance always being worried about money. Want to get a job or something? Any news about the work permits for Romanians, Poles and Bulgarians?Ā
Seems like you found someone to feed you. How long do you think that's gonna last?Ā
I forgot to give my friend that nail polish I promised. So sorry!! Will give it to you in person the next time I meet you, which hopefully will not be that far away from now.
Niky's prince charming is coming to Bucharest this weekend... She's still head over heels in love with him, right?
You seem to have a thing for Italian...girls. Lucky you <3.Ā
Talk to you soon.
Love
A.
P.S.: Good luck with your essay. You're gonna nail it
Exams are once a year in June, but my nearest assignment has to be handed in on the 27th, it's a literature review on "What is Politics?".
Some days are better, some are worse. Today was nice - my seminar tutor is a cross between James Franco and Norman Reedus, so getting to stare at him for an hour on Monday morning is always a plus. Today he was wearing a grey t-shirt which made his blue eyes pop even more, ahh.Ā
After my morning lectures I got to hang out with Giulia (also Italian, wonder what's up with that), went to another lecture, hung out with G more and then went to my German translation seminar. Last week we got a grumpy old man because our tutor was away, so today he brought us all cookies to make up for it. After that I ate dinner at Melissa's, which was even nicer, and got home around 10 pm.Ā
So yeah, today was nice.
Adam lives on Tottenham Court Road and he pays 110 pw but has to share a room, which he's kinda unhappy about since his roommate apparently never leaves the room and Adam misses his privacy.
Niky will never have enough of boys, c'mon. She's still on the lookout. I'm done with them.
Our night... wasn't as good as expected. We had a lot of fun in G-A-Y but for some reason it was closing at midnight (!) on Saturday so we went wandering around and finally ended up in a really, really gay bar complete with half naked male pole dancers. Fun times.
I'm really sorry about your SATs, when is the next session?
Where are you working?
O.
I told you that I just needed you to write..ahah
So mixed feelings for London, hm?Ā
I really think you're gonna be fine though. When do you have exams?Ā
You have to learn how to cook something, asap.Ā
By the way, how far from you is Adam? Is he staying in UCL's campus?Ā
I'm currently studying and working my way off this gap year. I should have taken SAT 1 this past Saturday, but guess what? I got freaking sick, as in a cold and a lack of calcium, I'm not sure how it's called in English, anyway it resulted in a few shots and an IV, so I had to postpone my SAT. Which is not exactly what I wanted to hear...
Also work is here to keep me company.. hooray.Ā
I thought about coming to London in January( that in case they free the way to work permits for Romanians) and find something to work there and eventually stay there for uni as well. We'll see...
So no more boys? Or does Niky have enough for both?
How was the night out with all three of you? Judging by the photos I'd say you had a blast. ahaha
Love,
-A.
