“Nice to meet you Liv.” He said with his most charming smile before turning his attention back to the room. “I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if someone had said there would be free snacks. I’d go to any club if they offered snacks.” As much as he was joking, he had hoped that there would be some but alas, there were non in sight. “Oh, of course she’s good.” He said now looking back at Liv. “She’s a Bones. Amelia set the original standard that Henry and I both need to achieve and overcome if we want to be known by anything other than ‘Amelia’s brothers’.” His words could have come across as harsh and spiteful, but he had a playful tone. Sure, it was difficult being the youngest Bones, but he didn’t hold that against his sister… did he? “She’s great if you need help with anything, but try not to deviate from her tasks. There’s a strict no unnecessary fun policy.” He was yet again joking and made a mental note to stop before he chased Liv away from Charms club forever.
Olivia smiled and nodded, there had to be some kind of incentive for everyone to show up, “I’d show up if someone offered me free food too. Have we investigated if there is food here?” She questioned, partly joking but also just out of curiosity if they should be grabbing the snacks now before they were all gone. She listened to him intently, she knew what it was like to have an older sibling who had already made herself known. The only difference here was that with the age gap between her and Cordelia, many of the professors had already forgotten Cordelia’s antics before Liv even came to Hogwarts. “I think she’s just doing the best for herself and forgot that might put you two in her shadow,” She replied, she didn’t think Amelia did anything out of spite or ill intentions, “But I’ll be sure to pay extra attention and not try to distract her, that can be your job.”
