Born in Durham NC to two mothers via surrogate
Her mothers didnt’ really know how to mother; they wanted a baby but Olivia’s biological mother was in no place to care for a baby…so she came earlier than expected
She was 8 years old when her twin little sisters were born
The twins were not born via surrogate, they were born to one of her mothers via IVF, but it doesn’t matter to Olivia; she will protect them with everything she has
Moved to Wilmington when she was 10
Never felt like Wilmington was home as a kid, was too homesick for Durham, spent a lot of time exploring and adventuring
Had her choice of schools upon graduation, took a year off to explore instead
When she came back, enrolled in UNC’s med school program, learning she needed to be close to home but also not have a monotonous job
Matched to Mercy General upon graduation and never left
full biography;
Born two hours up the interstate in Durham via surrogate to two loving mothers, it’s no surprise Olivia came into the world knowing nothing but love. She never had to ask or want for anything. She had the bake sale moms, the moms willing to drop everything to pick her up or take her somewhere or sneak a twenty from their wallets so she had some pocket change. Granted her mothers didn’t really know how to mother; they’d taken her in almost on impulse when their friend had fallen pregnant and wasn’t in a position to take care of a child. They had been, and no one wanted to see the system potentially fail a child. So her mothers took her in, raised her as their own, and for all she knew she wasn’t an accident. Nothing they did made her think she was.
She was 8 years old when the twins were born, and the moment she held them was the moment Olivia would tell you she knew what love truly was; the feeling growing watching the small newborns on her mom’s lap from the window of the NICU. That time, her mothers had actually tried for a baby, tried for years, and eventually the efforts paid off twofold. It didn’t matter the age difference between the kids. Those were her baby sisters, and Olivia would do anything to protect them.
They moved from Durham to Wilmington when the twins were two, Olivia ten. It was a change that took her a while to adjust to, a change that led to her adventurous side coming out to play. Days spent exploring the woods, racing to make it home before dark. Rushing through her homework so she could spend time outside. Dreams of getting out of Wilmington one day.
Where she’d go, she had no idea. But she’d do anything to stay out of the house, the house that didn’t feel like home anymore, despite nothing but the location changing. There was no less amount of love, in fact it grew. The family grew closer, and yet it didn’t feel right. She felt suffocated in that house.
She developed a sense of wanderlust. A feeling that didn’t go anywhere when she got the twins in on her adventures too. A feeling maybe there was something more. She made a deal with herself; finish school, get the twins to puberty and teach them everything she knew, take a year off, then figure out what she wanted to do with her life. In the meantime; hit the books. If she studied hard, she could go anywhere. She could get anywhere.
When graduation rolled around, she had her choice of schools but sticking to her guns she spent a summer converting a van into a mini-camper, and set out for a year of exploration, leaving her mother and the twins behind.
When she came back around, it was back to hitting the books. Her adventures had taught her a few lessons about herself; mostly the wanderlust would never fade, and she needed a job that didn’t have monotony and kept her close to home. She needed consistency, but also something that would change up, and something that fed into her natural need to protect and take care of people. So she hit the books again; working her way through medical school. It was the second hardest thing she’d put herself through, the first being leaving the twins for a year, but the hard work paid off when that degree was in her hands and that title was behind her name.
Getting a job at the local hospital was a no-brainer, made easier when she matched, working her way up from intern to resident, resident to attending, finding her place in the city for the first time, just a couple decades too late.
Coming back from vacation, if one could call it that, was kicking her ass. Or, maybe that was the double she was pulling. She had almost nodded off in the elevator when she heard Ariya's voice. "Hmm? Ah, four. Maybe I'll find an open on call room to nap in." She hummed, letting her head rest against the wall before the jolt of the halt woke her up. "Fuck!"
Olivia shook her head, leaning around Ari to push a few buttons. "Power's out." She squinted at her watch uselessly in the darkness. "Give it a minute and no, shut up I know I can't see shit in this darkness."
Ariya pressed 4 before everything went pitch black and the elevator came to a stop, "Fuck is right." She fumbled in her pocket for her phone, cursing under her breath as she struggled to find the flashlight function in the darkness. "Great, just great," she muttered, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "As if this day couldn't get any longer." She leaned against the wall of the elevator. “Did this have to happen when my boyfriend is here?” Her mind flickered over for a moment to Pearce. She hoped he’d get out of the hospital. She turned towards where she thought Olivia was standing, her phone's light creating eerie shadows. "Any idea how long these outages usually last?"
Liv looked the doors up and down. She'd been in a few power surges here and there, so she wasn't nervous...yet. "It'd definitely happen when your boyfriend is here. We had too much of a good luck streak." It had been a while, so Olivia really had to think. "Last time was only... three minutes, max?" She guessed. "That was a while ago. I'd give it at least five for the backup generator to kick in. Probably less, but yknow, a big place to repower."
She checked her phone after a few minutes. "Shit. It should've turned back on by now." Her hypervigilance she'd developed started to kick in. "I think we're between floors...and I have no signal."
Parker was blinded by the sun when she stepped out of the stranger's home she hooked up with the night before. With no recollection of where he lived and how they'd gotten here, she began walking aimlessly until got to somewhere she recognized. She hadn't had any foresight to charge her now dead phone, and was left to her own sense of direction, which was horrible on a good day, to guide her. "D'you mind letting me borrow a phone and light?" The fact she was sure her lighter was sat on the man's nightstand pissed her off to no end but she swallowed the anger. "I need to forget last night and that starts with chasing the taste of day old liquor on my tongue." It wouldn't taste better with nicotine but it would be a start.
"Right on, the railing is fixed, we can put the plant box back here til I find the breath to stain it. I'm gonna hop down, finish pulling the weeds down there and I think we're sorted." Olivia left Keegan to nudge the box back into place as she vaulted herself over the railing, carefully avoiding the flowers. The voice coming up the walk stopped her. "Keegan, go grab a lighter and a cigarette off Dakota and tell her I know she's got one and I'm not stupid." She waited until she was in before turning."I'm not opening my fancy liquor for you but I can at least do the phone bit and a cigarette if my sister isn't a pain about it." She offered up the device from her pocket. "Give me like, twenty minutes might even have a spare battery pack and charger you can keep handy."
Oh, it gets worse, but we won't get into it. Technically no, but they still worry me with those schemes. Even if its been years since they've pulled a stunt like that
Luckily, they want you forever...shit you may just be the only guy Keegan trusts, so it works out. If it becomes important... you know I'm here, yeah? Whenever you need me. I love you, pain in the butt, and i worry about you.
Well, shit -- that's a compliment if I've ever heard one. Grateful to be a man she could trust. Joelle raised me right then. Of course, I know you're here, Liv. It's nothing, promise. I'm just trying to figure out some stuff with someone. Love you too, Liv -- no need to worry about me, okay? Everything's alright. So -- you and Sierra? What's going on there?
I mean, you've given her no reason not to trust you. Least that I've heard of. Shush we all know she raised you right, as much of a pain in the ass as she can be. Alright, alright, you know I worry. It's what I do, it's why I'll go gray before 40. Not worrying about you is something I'm incapable of doing, Linc. Me and...Sierra...there's...
Nothing official. We're...intimate, she helps me out if the twins get into a hiccup, but that's about it.

location: mercy hospital in the elevator during the blackout
Ari's lips curled into a smile as she entered the elevator. While she was accustomed to seeing Pearce almost daily, tonight he'd shown up just as her shift was ending. "Which floor?" she asked her companion before pressing the button and feeling the descent begin. She was glancing at her phone when the elevator suddenly halted and darkness enveloped them. "What the fuck?"
"I have faith if they were going to kill anyone, they would've had done it by now." Liv waved her off. She had too much faith before coffee. "You made me want muffins, we can hide them and sneak around when we need to snack." She chuckled. "Alright one of us is thinking straight, let's go."
"There's signs of possible infection; white counts high... slightly elevated d-dimer, but nothing that screams red flag. It barely flagged in the system..." Her eyes scanned the computer screen as she sat down to pull up the results again." She took a long sip of her coffee. "You are the diagnostician. If you have a hunch, I'm rolling with it. You've never been wrong in the years I've known you. If you think it's autoimmune then that's the route we go with until proven wrong." She tapped the keyboard. " I'm putting in the order for a repeat CBC and CMP, just to be safe in case we're missing something, an ANA test and special order to check for inflammatory markers...you think it's too much if we tack on a CT just to see if something pops up? Or you think we're not there yet?"
Ariya nodded, a small smile playing on her lips as she sipped her coffee, while the hospital buzzed around them. "You're right, but something's off," she mused, brow furrowing. "I appreciate the faith, but even the best can be wrong. That's why we're a team, right?" She leaned back, considering. "A CT might be overkill. Let's check ANA and inflammatory markers first. If they're positive, we'll have a stronger case for invasive tests." Her mind raced, piecing together the puzzle. She drummed her fingers, recalling a case from UCSF. "Had a patient with supposed gastritis that turned out to be early lupus. Rare, but possible." Her eyes brightened. "Let's check complement levels too. Low C3 and C4 could point to lupus or another autoimmune condition." Standing, she stretched. "Want to check on the patient? We might spot something new. Plus, we can snag those muffins." she added with a wink.
She glanced up over her coffee, giving Ariya a look. "Of course, the best can be wrong, but you're willing to actually dig. That's why we're a team because I'm not too comfortable saying 'ah it's just this come back if it's worse." She typed into the computer. "The lab is going to hate my guts. Alright, repeat CBC and CMP, ANA with inflammatory markers...complement levels... Yeah, they're so going to hate me because I am putting a rush on it too...fuck it." She pressed the key to send it off. She took a long sip of her coffee, shaking herself off. "Yeah, let's go get a physical exam because I don't trust the medical munchkin."
(basically a drabble of where the hell Liv has been. No I didn't proof read it...deal with it)
She looks at the clock, the red numbers of "5:22" glaring back at her in the darkness.
Olivia sighed. Her vacation, if one could call it that, ended in a little over two and a half hours and eight was going to come around too early for her liking. She reached over to shut the impending alarm off, tossing the covers back. Rubbing her face she swung her feet over the side of the bed. "Okay. Okay."
She listened, waiting. Silence. It told her Keegan is still asleep, or so she hoped. She really hoped. Regardless she stands, quietly walking down the hall. She still had a lot to do.
She walked to the kitchen, turning on the coffee pot. Peering into a cabinet, she finds coffee she doesn't have to grind and prepares what will probably end up being the first two or three of many coffees today.
She doubles back down the hallway and let herself take a peek into what has now become Keegan's bedroom. The silence is replaced by soft, steady breathing. She headed back for the shower.
Turning the water on as hot as she could stand it, she quickly shed her clothes, letting herself get lost in her thoughts as her mind had mentally recapped the last three weeks.
When her mothers had informed her of Keegan's psychotic break, she'd wasted very little time putting in all of the vacation time she had built. The guilt that popped up in her head of leaving her coworkers short staffed was short lived when she received the promise of her patients being covered, surgeries rescheduled, her only focus to be on her family.
Moving Keegan in and Dakota coming over during the times she had work had been Dakota's idea, but with their parents down the road, Dakota in between jobs anyway having more time to play caregiver, and Olivia having plenty of space as it was, moving her into a safer place seemed like a good option. A place she could lay low, not worry. There was that pesky thing called the lease her sister had taken out on an apartment, but that wasn't anything she couldn't pay off herself.
Plus, she did like the company of having her little sister around.
She sighs when the water runs cold, reaching for her towel. There's enough steam in the bathroom to keep her warm as she dried off, pulling her hair back into the semi wet, messy bun it was going to stay in until it fell out.
When she exits the bathroom, there's rustling in the kitchen. She walked slowly, turning the corner to find Keegan looking in the fridge for...something.
"I guess I'm not the only one up early this morning." She slowly comes up behind her, closing the fridge door when Keegan curls up against her chest in a hug.
"Is it being up early if you didn't really sleep?"
"Yeah... unfortunately, it does. You want coffee? One cup won't hurt you. Might even help."
"Mm, no. Just food."
"Food sounds like a good idea." She hugs her tightly, taking in the moment. She pressed a gentle kiss to the top of her head. "I'll grab melatonin after work."
"Not another pill."
"I'll buy you the gummy kind, how's that?"
-
Once she was sure everything was settled, she settled to the drive to the hospital that seemed longer than it usually was. Pulling into the spot she'd more or less claimed over the years felt both natural and foreign all the same. Olivia let out a sigh.
"It's just a few hours. The medication is working. Dakota promised to not blow up the house. They'll be fine. She'll be fine. Go in, check your charts, go home." Her head pressed against the steering wheel, as she reached over to open the car door.
The walk inside is uneventful, and she's reminded even by some of the medical community she works with that mental health is not a, quote "casserole disease".
She rolled her shoulders, shaking it off. Everything otherwise still seems normal. Like she never left.
"Liv! Welcome back!"
The chief has a guilty look in his eyes as he steps out of his office to greet her. "Chief....you want something."
"I need a favor...."
"As long as it's not watching interns...oh no. No way. I raised my babies. I raised my interns. My babies have their own babies. Get one of them to split a group of interns."
"These are the babies of your... babies, Liv. Montgomery has her first solo surgery and Schmidt is sick so he can't supervise...she has an interest in general surgery and I figure...this way we keep you occupied for a bit. It's just a few days. Consider it making sure they're not bringing shame to the family."
Olivia sighs. "Dammit. I like Montgomery too. I have a soft spot for that one...and I had a soft spot for Schmidt...and you are legitimately giving me puppy dog eyes fine! Fine I'll do it! But! Only surgery I'm doing today. I need to be home early."
"Deal."
-
She sighed as she scrubs in. Did she want to get caught in a possibly hours long surgery her first day back? No. Did she want to be monitoring interns again? No...but she was there. They seemed excited...and like a fresh start. Plus...she could see if shame was being brought on the family...rag her residents about it later.
At the line of interns all scrubbed in and ready, save for the one who was going to keep an eye on her pager and phone, she looks each one in the eye.
"Remember one thing every time you step into an OR: you have the potential to change someone's life." She looks straight at the intern whose first solo surgery she's overlooking. "You. You will be fine, and I will be here every step of the way if you need me."
The sigh she lets out next is content. "Alright you medical munchkins. It's a beautiful day to rebuild a life. Let's make some magic happen and have a little fun. Ten blade."
And I thought my family was a hot mess. God love y'all, Liv. Does it matter? It was genius. Knew I wanted to keep them forever after that. I'm fine, Liv. It's not -- I'm just tired, work, you know? Some family stuff. Nothing important.
"I know they're your babies. The way you care for them is one of the things I admire the most about you," she confessed in a small smile, looking giddy at Olivia. "And you couldn't run me off."
Sierra chuckled at Olivia's straightforwardness. "Well, honesty is the best policy," she said with a grin. "And I have a feeling Keegan and Dakota are tougher than we give them credit for. They might surprise us."
She brushed a strand of Olivia's hair behind her ear, her touch gentle. "I think it's great you're so open with them. It shows how much you trust and respect them. And hey, if they have any questions, I'm more than happy to answer them." Sierra's eyes softened as she looked at Olivia. She leaned in for another kiss, slow and lingering, savoring the moment.
"Alright, let's make this dinner happen," she said, her voice filled with warmth. "I'll help with the grilling and anything else you need. And after, we can finally go over that insurance policy." She winked playfully. "And then, of course, find some time in your bedroom so you can... How is it that you so beautifully put it? Fuck the fire captain." With a final squeeze, she pulled back, ready to head over to Olivia's place. "Lead the way, Doc. I'm all yours for the evening."
"Yeah? Who knew someone could find that attractive." She grinned playfully. "Well I'd hope not, I'd never want you to run off."
"They'll either surprise us or embarrass the hell out of me... knowing them, both. One will know, the other will make fun of me, and I'll have to subtly threaten her life."
She snuck in a quick kiss. "Don't tell them that or they'll eat you alive. Or, Dakota will. Keegan might take a while to warm up again. You know she likes having you around but everything going on is...yknow. it's a lot for her. Remind me to teach you one day what to do if she breaks down or has an episode and you're over."
Olivia laughed, resting her head against Sierra's. "Better, I'll cook and you can go over my policy." She smirked. "Bedroom or the loft, your choice. " choosing to ignore the 'fuck the fire captain remark. "Sure you're all good here? Wouldn't want to take the captain away if she's needed."
Ariya chuckled at her friend's comment about their interns not trying to kill anyone. She raised an eyebrow, before commenting. "Well, there's still time. Don't jinx us, Liv." She accepted the card with a grateful nod, impressed by the coffee order. "Four muffins? Now that's what I call breakfast of champions. I knew there was a reason we were friends.” When their order arrived, she grabbed her coffee and took a long sip, letting out a contented sigh. "Oh, sweet nectar of the gods. Now I can think straight."
She led the way back to the hospital, steps quick and purposeful. "Okay, so the CBC and CMP were off, but not alarmingly so. That's interesting. It could be the early stages of something more systemic." She paused, turning to face her colleague. "I suspect we’re dealing with an autoimmune disorder. The gastritis symptoms could be just the tip of the iceberg." As they entered the hospital, her mind was in full diagnostic mode. "Let's run an ANA test and check for elevated inflammatory markers. I have a hunch this might be more than just a simple gastrointestinal issue." She glanced at her friend, gauging her reaction. "What do you think? Am I barking up the wrong tree here?"
Sierra's lips curved into a tender smile as she listened to Olivia. "Well, I can't argue with her logic. Sometimes you just need that bit of distance to feel comfortable. But yeah, if she needs anything, you know I'll watch out for her."
She felt a shiver of delight as Olivia's fingers played with the ends of her hair. "And yet, I'm still around because I can't get enough of you," she murmured, her tone both playful and sincere.
Laughing softly, Sierra remembered how she had indeed gotten overly excited about the loft. "You know me too well. But yeah dinner and insurance review sounds like the perfect nerdy evening to me." Her eyes sparkled with affection right before she kissed Olivia back, savoring the warmth and familiarity of her lips. "I'd love to come over. Make sure the grill is safe for grilling—ha," she joked. "But yeah, I'm always in for spending more time with you, and the twins."
Sierra pulled Olivia closer, resting her forehead against hers. "How are you going to explain to them me sleeping over this time? It's literally pride festival, I have no doubts they'll know what I'm there for."
"I know I have to let her just...try to live a normal life, I do, but y'know that's my baby. They're both my babies. The only good thing about us trying to figure out Keegan's mental illness is Dakota has turned the chaos down ten notches."
"Yeah somehow I haven't run you off with all the sudden baggage. It's amazing, really. I'd have run for the hills." No, she wouldn't have.
Olivia smirked, knowing that nerdy comment would come back to bite her. "You're my favorite nerd. You know it." A playful glare. "I'll have you know old faithful is just as good as the day I got her. No insulting my grill."
Liv paused. She legitimately forgot about the twins, and the twins were only over for the weekend because their moms were on a much needed vacation. "I'm pretty sure they suspect something. Keegan definitely does, Kota is probably catching on. At this point I feel like "I'm fucking the fire captain and we're having dinner and she's spending the night" seems like the best option. Keegan knows you're not going to mess up her schedule. Kota could care less. She'll rag on me for a while but eventually she'll shut up."
"Hey, if Keegan is feeling overwhelmed and needs a safe space, I can let her hang in our booth," she told her, a little frown but soft eyes. "You know I'd keep an eye on her and make sure she's safe."
Sierra laughed softly, shaking her head. "You're impossible," she murmured, her lips brushing against Olivia's neck between each word. The warmth of Olivia's arms around her waist, the playful banter, it was all a welcome distraction from the chaos of her usual life.
"I suppose I can let the lecture slide this time," she teased, her voice low and husky. She shifted slightly, pulling Olivia closer, feeling the familiar comfort of their bodies pressed together. "But only because you promised to let me read that insurance policy."
She kissed Olivia deeply, her hands moving up to cup her face, their lips meeting in a slow, passionate dance. "As for those ideas," she said, pulling back just enough to speak, her eyes locking onto Olivia's with a mischievous glint, "I think maybe later we can find a more private setting to explore them."
"I know, I told her but I think she just likes the idea of the car being close enough she can see everything and far enough she doesn't have to hear it. Honestly I feel like I'm risking it bringing her along but I wasn't about to tell her no when I had a plan."
Olivia grinned, one hand sliding up to play with the ends of Sierra's hair. "And yet, you're still around."
She had to laugh. "Listen, it was literally waiting on the counter when I showed you the loft and then you got really excited about the loft like the little nerd you are and that I love and I just forgot to show you." She kissed her gently. "I'll even make you dinner while you go over it with a fine tooth comb."
"Mm, wanna come over for dinner? I think the twins have somehow talked me into throwing things on the grill."
She had to admit, it was a clever tactic. Together, they made their way to the coffeeshop. "Please. Your intern class couldn't have been worse than mine. I swear, half of them couldn't tell a stethoscope from a otoscope," she quipped, rolling her eyes dramatically. "But I suppose that's why we're here, right? To mold these little medical munchkins into somewhat competent doctors." As they reached the coffee shop, her eyes lit up at the sight of the menu. "You're buying? In that case, I'll have a triple shot espresso with a splash of almond milk. And maybe a muffin. Or two. Don't judge me, Liv. It's been a long shift." While they waited for their order, Ariya's mind wandered back to the patient's chart. "You know, something's not sitting right with me about this case. The symptoms are textbook for gastritis, but there's something we're missing. Did they run a complete blood count?"
She tapped her fingers on the counter, her brow furrowed in concentration. Even as she waited for her caffeine fix, her mind was working overtime, piecing together the puzzle. "Thanks," she said, accepting her coffee from the barista. Taking a long sip, she let out a contented sigh. "Okay, now I can think straight. Let's head back and take another look at those labs. I have a hunch, and I want to run it by you. I think we might be dealing with something more than just gastritis here. Let's check for elevated inflammatory markers and run an ANA test. I have a hunch this might be more than just a simple gastrointestinal issue. It could be the early stages of an autoimmune disorder affecting multiple systems.”
"I mean at least our interns never tried to kill anyone. We got that going for us." Olivia couldn't hold back the laugh at Ari's dramatic eye roll. "So stealing the term 'medical munchkin' to use next time an intern pisses me off." She wordlessly handed over her card. "Just...ah crap I should make an effort to sleep tonight...no screw it; mocha latte, add an extra double shot of espresso and make that four muffins." It was her turn to roll her eyes. "Like I'm gonna judge you. If I was gonna judge I wouldn't have handed over my card."
Her brain tried to remember the chart. She didn't have a memory like Ari's, especially on no coffee. "CBC, CMP, even a tox screen. Counts were a little off but nothing that looked overly alarming." She took a long sip of her coffee, nodding her head. "Lead the way. Your hunches are usually never wrong and I need this espresso to kick in before I think."
No no, pretty sure I see a blush there. You ever come into my ER or OR as a patient I promise I'll save you before I kill you for putting me through that anxiety, you'll get the same lecture the twins do. Oh but I did. Some of the best two grand I ever spent. Mm, lead the way, c'mon, cough it up. Ah yes. Perfect thank you. Mm, best thank you I think I've ever gotten. And since I did say I'd do your laundry...I will be here with the twins all day so if you have any more laying around in your car, throw it in my backseat and I'll drop it off at the station.
And if you promise not to lecture me for carrying that much cash, or leaving my car unlocked because I have good reasons, I'll finally let you read my homeowner's insurance policy you nerd
"No blush, nope!" She shook her head, blushing still. "I will strive to never do, so you don't have to come in and murder me and be arrested after I'm dead," she tutted. "The poor twins, really," Sierra added with a little grin. "I'd complain that's too much for a shirt, but it's going to charity so, yeah."
Sierra shook her head, lips pressed against Olivia's still, "Why do you have your car unlocked and why are you walking around with two grand at the same time? I will lecture you!" She kissed her instead, nibbling her lips and down her chin. "Plus, me reading your homeowner's insurance policy is just me, yet again, trying to make sure you're safe and well covered in case something happens." She planted several kisses and little bites down her neck, devouring her gently slow. "What am I gonna do with you, Liv?" She moved back to her lips, smirking.
"Lies, all lies." She laughed. "Somehow, I think I'll be safe from arrest. You're the only one who can hear me." She playfully nudged Sierra in the ribs. "Hey! That's how I managed to get one to almost thirty. For a good few years, at of the start of my career before we added first initial, the board said 'Logarzo', and it was a guessing game between if it was me or if Dakota did something stupid. Even if I was on call." Olivia just smirked. "Yeah but I got you shirtless and I get to attempt to save the other." Priorities.
A playful groan. "Because Keegan needs a safe space to go hide if it gets too much and she can't find me and because I knew you'd give me a hard time with the check." She hummed happily, arms settling around Sierra's waist. "Lecture me after we're done or you're gonna kill the mood. I'm letting you read my insurance it's the least you can do." The smirk reappeared. "Well, captain, I can think of a few ideas but none of them are appropriate for the public."
Is that a blush I see creeping on your cheeks? I knew you were studying that board for something. Listen you know I don't care about you running into burning buildings as long as you don't end up in my ER with massive burns. Of course we should we just...have to plan carefully. Yeah? Did I let the mystery drop with you and didn't realize it? Ah...that reminds me...it's your shirt. For the love of God, let me wash the one on your body when this is all said and done. You smell like sweat, smoke, and body odor and while it's kinda hot...I will do your laundry for free. Besides, supporting my sisters and who they love is worth a couple grand. Actually more but that's all the ATM let me take out.
Me? Blushing? Never! Well, I had to make sure of the important information, you know. And you know I'm careful in my calls, the goal is to always walk into your OR as the worker not the patient. Carefully, right. And don't you worry, you're still a mystery to me—a very good one. Ah! For me? Oh, Liv, you didn't—fine, fine, I'll change it. And that's a fucking generous donation, thank you. It'll help so many people... Thank you. Come here, come with me... Just—just follow me, let's go. Gotta change my shirt, you know. So you can do my laundry for free. At least this once, I'm taking you up on that one. But of course it needs the proper thank you. This way—ah yes, perfect.
It's your fault, you're too—I don't know? Sweet? Cute? I just feel like justifying myself. Anywaaaay... Oh I remember that, believe me, more than once I checked the board for your name after coming in with a trauma. Maybe you're the more responsible one, but just because you wouldn't run into a burning building—I hope you don't. Because then I need to run in to save you. Good times too... Should we add more times soon, actually? But I'm talking I know you more than just in bed—or other surfaces for that matter. I know you. Thank you for your donation! Here's your shirt. And thank you for supporting the community, Liv. You're the best.
