The Cook Book brief was all about creating images to fit within a layout. I found it was great learning how to set out type to sit with images so the layout flows and has a consistent feel and look. It was a great learning experience, working out the layout and designing it.

The power of the assistant!

During the day yesterday while shooting I learnt the power of the assistant. When doing a shoot with models on location or in studio it is important to have assistants to help. While at a shoot its important to have a team, work together to achieve the best outcome possible.

Yesterday was a great experience, going to Byron Bay to watch a Luv Bridal shoot in progress. It was an amazing experience to see how other photographers work. The shoot location was beautiful and made for a great place to shoot, with so much to offer.

We were given a brief too create a bridal campaign about a fantasy princess. For my campaign I choose Anastasia. This is the behind the scenes of shooting in studio for the billboard and the final billboard image.

I was given a brief to capture images for a stock image library. This is the process I went through to capture the images and edit them to achieve my final outcome.

Ready to shoot my assignments on my awesome new Canon 5D Mark III. So happy with my new camera! :)
