I write them love letters written with the hand of autumn, a shade of the bleeding trees and golden honey that grows envious of beauty that their eyes hold.

9AM econ class. breakfast with family. watching totoro; studying calculus on the kitchen countertop. exercising while reading. eating dinner. learning chords on the acoustic guitar. revising chemistry till the sun goes down. long nights spent laughing, learning, lying down in bed texting. maybe a movie
what are you guys doing this days? I haven’t been baking for ages. I think last thing I baked was apple pie we made with my mom more than a year ago. so now I have this recipe of banana bread and I’ll bake it tomorrow. but today you can just enjoy pages of my journal.
in April I found style that I like and I try to stick to it while I write something in my journal. this year I didn’t buy planer and just use the beautiful journal that I already had. and I’m really happy with how it looks. I didn’t decorate it much previous months because I couldn’t find any inspiration. I wonder what will inspire me in May? • • • #journal #journaling #bulletjournal #bujo #bulletjournalideas https://www.instagram.com/p/B-z4lopAuu_/?igshid=1y0khx7j696x0

Transitioning back into a work-from-home schedule gives me time and headspace to actually maintain my bullet journal. I'm almost done with this notebook! I need to find a new one soon-ish lol. Less than 2 months left. I also started reading La peste by Albert Camus with my online bookclub. I wasn't expecting it to be so good, I would say it is really better than L'Étranger so far, and of course it is totally appropriate for the current events. Maybe a bit too appropriate.
A pestilence isn't a thing made to man's measure; therefore we tell ourselves that pestilence is a mere bogy of the mind, a bad dream that will pass away. But it doesn't always pass away and, from one bad dream to another, it is men who pass away, and the humanists first of all, because they haven't taken their precautions. (Albert CAMUS, The Plague, part 1)

03/27/2020; quarantine challenge week 1: friday
what is your favourite subject/topic to study at the moment?
i love reviewing my bio and chem notes from the year to see that i’ve really learned and understood them! and i’ve been interested in the science of pandemics recently too

Do you make a study schedule to keep yourself on track when working from home?
I've never found schedules work for me, I prefer to set myself a bunch of mini deadlines in the lead up to one big deadline and try to meet them as best I can. If I miss one though, I won't beat myself up over it, I tend to manage my time well enough to give myself wiggle room
rediscovering things I love to do… currently rereading some old favorites and listening to music I’d forgotten. gap years are nice 💖
