It’s about time to make an intro post / belated

I guess this is less of an introduction to me and more of an introduction to my soul  drawing habits. It’s a pinned post!

I’m Ollie, and I’m a veterinarian who parades as an artist/cosplayer as part of an elaborate disguise. I am most active on Instagram (aloofs_travelingcircus) and Toyhouse (AloofFloof) but check here regularly even when I am not posting. Victoria Frankenstein Changing Portrait

Tried out 2D art for the first time in a while! What started as a pose practice sketch turned into Victoria, which then turned into my attempt at a Haunted Mansion-style changing portrait. I finally learned gif-making for this!

(It sucks that tumblr made me then compress the gif and wreck the quality ☹️)

Its time to get excited once again for Stricklake month!!

As I've been doing for the past two years, I'm hosting Stricklake month. I'm releasing the prompts a month in advance for people to have time to prep their prompts and for new people to decide if they want to take part. The event will run for the entire duration of August.

Prompts for this year are as follows:

Week one: Time loop/Interdimensional (1st-7th August)

Week two: Accident/Choice (8th-14th August)

Week three: Resurrection/After life (15th-21st August)

Week four: Crime/Innocent (22nd-28th August)

Final roundup: (29th-31st August)

For those new to Stricklake month, take a look at last years final roundup to get a idea of what people have done for the month, HERE. All mediums are welcome, as long as the main focus remains on the relationship between Barbara Lake/Walter Strickler. Like last year, Jim is free to make guest appearances as part of the knife family, so you can indulge in all the family fluff (Jimbo loves to photobomb these lovebirds).

You're welcome to fill in as many or as little prompts as you'd like for any of the weeks, there's no pressure! Just make sure to tag your fills with #keenswimmers2026. This makes it easier to find content! Also, this year I'll have a bit of help with the first two week's roundup posts from @undeadchestnut so look out for those! I'll be still doing the last two roundup posts as well as the final roundup.

Ygoria as a romance novel🫀

Very excited to finally share some pictures of my Dread Pirate Frogerts build! I've been thinking about making this outfit for my Kermit for a while now, but the proper motivation to actually get this done was hearing that Cary Elwes was announced as a guest for my local comic convention! So with any luck Dread Pirate Frogerts will be getting to meet the real Westley very soon.

A shocking amount of work went into making this little outfit... I completely underestimated the amount of time I would need to put all this together. Though a good chunk of that was me getting way too wrapped up in perfectionism... ask me how many times I re-did the smocking on the sleeves (On second thought, don't, it's embarrassing). Here I thought I had been con-crunching with Piggy last year... technically, I only just finished Kermit today, and the convention starts Thursday. Lots of internal (and external) screaming was had with this build. I did film the majority of it, with plans to turn it into a full video and reel in the future... maybe once I've had a chance to recoup from aforementioned con-crunch.
